A cold wind brushed past Sailor Earth's legs as she stood her ground. Her glove covered hands balled into fists as she planted her white booted feet hard against the concrete. Her dark hair whipped behind her like a dark cloak and the long purple ribbons of her fuku swirled about her. She winked; an infinite sign appeared and grew in size before she plucked it from the air. "Infinite Boomerang!" She cocked her arm back and pitched the glowing glyph with all her might. The boomerang careened through the air, swiping at the grass as it fell low before swooping upwards. The figure it was heading to had already moved. "Nice, but not fast enough." It ran closer towards Earth, heels clicking against the stony ground. An arrow of pure flame came flying from the darkness, barely brushing past Earth's double layered skirt. The deadly flame singed the purple outer layer. Earth jumped back, smacking at the flames with her hands. "Shimatta!" "Play with fire, and you get burned!" it said, releasing another wave of fire. Earth tried to counter attack, but her fiery opponent outmaneuvered her at every chance. Fuku now torn and burned, Earth stood tall against the sunlight. She'd had enough. She folded her arms and pulled herself to her full height. "Jinsei to enaaji no, seera fuku, bishoujo Senshi. SupaSeera Aasu!" The red being planted its fists on its hips. "My deity is the fiery planet, the god of war. Hi to seigi no, seera fuku, bishoujo Senshi. Seera Maazu!" When she finished, a sly grin slid across her face. Earth had always tried, and usually failed, to beat Sailor Mars. The competition between the pair set the standards for their friendship. What the two were fighting for was domination, an establishment of their power. Moshi, stubborn and one to not hesitate in keeping her words, and Rei, also very stubborn and unwilling to listen to anyone. Usagi often worried that the 'battles' would carry too far, leaving someone open to get hurt. Moshi had told Usagi that she wouldn't allow things to get too dangerous. She simply enjoyed having a partner to train with. "Are you going to attack, Earth, or just stand there gaping like Usagi?" said Mars, changing her position to one of defense. Earth was tired, she knew she couldn't beat Mars; she simply wasn't powerful enough. She figured the reason behind her gaining a new power with every transformation was her powers were always fading after some time. In fact, the boomerang was starting to loose its power as well. There was only one thing to do; act a fool. She caused her form to crackle with purple and golden energy. "Owari da, Seera Maazu!" She charged towards Mars, screaming at the top of her lungs in her Jupiter battle yell voice. This caught Mars off guard. The sudden sound of Jupiter yelling made her look around. "She's mimicking," she thought as she pulled an ofuda from her subspace pocket. When Earth reached the halfway mark that separated them, she stopped and vaulted using both of her feet to propel her body towards Mars. "Akuryo taisan!" She smacked the ofuda on Earth's forehead, stopping her from landing on her. Earth collapsed and her body went as rigid as a board. She quivered and was suddenly still. Her henshin melted away, leaving her clad in her Juuban fuku. From the sidelines, the other Senshi watched with baited breath. Makoto was the first to break from the group when Moshi hit the ground. "Not again!" Makoto cried, rushing over to her fallen friend. Mars turned back into Hino Rei and helped her friends usher Moshi back into the temple. "Just had to use an ofuda, didn't you!?" Usagi asked as she placed a pillow under Moshi's head. Rei threw Usagi an evil glare. "She was going to pounce on me!" "Never mind that!" Ami interjected. "She's waking up!" "You don't think..." Minako started, trailing off when Moshi suddenly sat up. The purple eyes had a dazed look about them. "Nani?" she asked. Ami waved a hand before the dazed eyes. "Daijoubu?" She grabbed one wrist and pressed her fingers against it to check the pulse. She stared at the five girls before giggling. "Daijoubu, Ami-chan!" Makoto's face suddenly fell. "Not again!" she repeated. Makoto grabbed the front of Moshi's fuku and gave it a strong shake. "Anata wa dare ka?!" Moshi's ponytail whipped about as Makoto started shaking her. "Ahhh! Mako-chan, yamate!" She grabbed the strong hands and pried them away from her shirt. "Atashi Minako!" She put her hand behind her head and started giggling again. Rei sighed; at least she wasn't being imitated again. "Now she thinks she's Minako-chan!" Usagi giggled. "She has the voice right." Moshi pushed her hand through her hair, the ring of metamorphosis shone as the dark hair brightened to a pale golden color and her eyes lightened to an icy blue. Ami gagged. "Now she has the look too." The ring somehow had changed Moshi into a mirror image of Minako. The Senshi could see the small golden infinity sign on her forehead. Minako roared and jumped to her feet. "This is not fair! She didn't turn into Rei the first time!" Ami tried to calm Minako down. "We need to worry on getting her switched back!" "Forget that!" Usagi cried out. "Mamo-chan's gonna kill me! I can't take her home like this!" Moshi watched her friends as they started yelling and trying to figure out what to do. "Minna?" she said in her Minako voice. All five turned their eyes onto her. "Nani!?" She pressed her finger against the sign and transformed back into herself. "Just kidding!" "NANI!?" the five yelled again. "GET HER!" Usagi screamed, pouncing from her seat on the floor onto Moshi. "OOOF!" Five flying bodies suddenly pounded Moshi, knocking her to the floor. "Of all the insufferable--" Rei started. Moshi waved her hand, cutting Rei off. "Rei-chan, calm down. It was just a little fun. We've all been a bit stressed these days!" "Fun?! That was not fun!" Rei threw back. Moshi huffed and folded her arms. "Well excuse me. I'm sorry I'm not the comic genius that Minako-chan is. I was just trying to lighten things up a bit." Rei growled and her eyes flashed with anger. "These days everything you do is in fun. For once can you just be serious and stick to the task at hand?!" "Task?" Moshi parroted, jumping to her feet. "Did the mighty Rei-sama hand down a task to us mere mortals!?" Rei only bit her lip and frowned harder. "I thought you had some qualities deemed good enough to be a Senshi, but I see you're nothing but another reject!" "Reject?!" Moshi said, horrified. "Another?!" Usagi said. "Hey wait, are you talking about me?!" Rei only huffed and threw her hair over her shoulder before exiting. "I don't have to sit here and take this crap!" Moshi roared at Rei's retreating backside. "Don't worry, Rei-sama. You don't have to worry about me anymore!" She jumped up and threw her shoes on. Against the cries of Luna and Artemis, Moshi ran out of the Jinja and raced down the front steps. "Shimatta," Makoto cursed, taking off after Moshi. "Guess I should calm Rei-chan down," Usagi muttered. * * * * "I swear, Rei-chan always manages to piss me off," Moshi grumbled under her breath, storming past people on the sidewalk. Some parted when they saw the dark red flush of anger on the girl's face. Others only watched as she stomped past, gritting her teeth, her fists clinching in anger. "Mo-chan!" Makoto called. She had chased Moshi nearly four blocks. How was Moshi moving so fast and just walking, while she had to run the marathon just to keep up. She finally caught up with Moshi at the stoplight. Grabbing her shoulder, she tried to turn her around. The energy jolt was sudden. She pulled her hand back and shook her injured fingers. "Mo-chan?!" Moshi looked at Makoto. "What is it?" While crossing the street, Makoto whispered under her breath. "You're building up a charge!" Moshi looked at her ponytail. Small strands of hair were standing up. "Oh crap, you're right. You see what Rei-chan does to me?!" Makoto laughed and directed her towards Fruit Parlor Crown. * * * * Rei was absolutely furious. Moshi had taken something so serious as practice and turned it into a buffoonery act of self-preservation. All the time Rei was worried that she'd seriously hurt Moshi; Moshi was merely playing opossum. She thought that this time something even more disastrous might happen. The last time an ofuda was used like that, Moshi's past self had awakened and was ready to destroy Moshi. That still didn't take into account that why somehow Moshi always managed to piss her off. At least her and Usagi had finally reached an understanding. This was something different. From the moment they met, the two were like oil and water; they just couldn't mix. When she first met the others, Rei could 'read' them in a way. Her sharp sixth sense was able to detect slight things about each Senshi. Moshi was different. Whenever she was near her, Moshi seemed to dampen her sense. Was it because of her past? Was it her powers? What exactly was it? Rei wasn't sure, but she didn't like the feeling it created. She'd discussed the matter with Makoto. Makoto's reasoning was because the two girls weren't on a normal level as the other Senshi; Rei was subconsciously shutting down whenever she was near Moshi. Rei had agreed with what Makoto had said, but that still ignored the major point. Moshi pissed her off to no greater end. Rei sighed and glanced at the wall clock. She still had an hour before going to dinner at Makoto's. She was sure if Makoto was cooking that Moshi would be there. That meant she'd had to get there a half-hour early to beat Moshi and Usagi to the food. She gathered her needed books to study with and packed her overnight bag. This was going to be a long night. Outside the Hikawa jinja, a spirit was waiting. This demon had sensed a great amount of anger brewing inside. For years, this spirit had lain dormant, pacified by the holy wards that guarded this temple. Today was different, she felt the anger and wanted to taste it so bad. The fact that the person who had the anger was a priestess made the ache so much greater. She calmed herself down, not wanting the priestess to sense her. And so she waited, hiding underneath the cherry tree, watching as the priestess walked down the stairs, muttering under her breath. Ain Gree waited until the priestess was around the corner, did she give chase. Rei was heading for the bus stop that would lead to Makoto's apartment when she suddenly sensed evil. Gasping, she reached into her pocket and pulled out an ofuda, placing her back against the wall. She knew it had been following and was now hovering back, as if stalking her movements "I know you're here," she muttered under her breath. She knew she couldn't head back to the temple, whatever it was had to be in the path somewhere. Suddenly, her senses were clouded as a black spirit appeared in front of her. "That ofuda won't work, my dear priestess." Rei screamed and threw the ofuda. That was the last thing she remembered. * * * * Moshi and Makoto were in Fruit Parlor Crown having shakes. They were laughing, talking, and interacting with other people from their classes. Makoto was trying her best to cheer Moshi up and so far, she thought she was doing a good job. Every once in a while that dark look would appear in the violet eyes, like a dark cloud appearing before a storm. "Eh, Mako-chan. There's your friend Toshi. I think she really has a thing for you," Moshi quipped, a twinkie appearing in her eyes. Makoto gasped. "Mo-chan!" She whapped at Moshi with her napkin, causing Moshi to dash away and giggle. The sliding doors if the parlor opened and Minako rushed in, hair swaying and she was carrying a few bags. "Moshi moshi, Moshi!!" Minako called from the entrance. When she reached the table, she set her knapsack on the floor and Artemis' cat carrier on the bench next to Moshi. Moshi grumbled at Minako. "You know I hate it when you say that." Makoto laughed. "Which is exactly why she does it!" Minako blinked her huge blue eyes, trying to portray a scene of innocence. "Gomen nasai, Mo-chan. If you hate it that much, I'll stop." Moshi tried to respond, but a sudden jolt of heat, caused her to fall from her seat onto the tiled floor. Minako and Makoto rushed to her side to help her up. * * * * 'What happened?' Moshi opened her eyes. Why did she all of sudden feel hot? 'Where am I?' She had ignored the voice at first, but it repeated itself again. 'Minako-chan? Mako-chan? Where am I?' Oh no. It couldn't be Mosite again! No, it didn't sound like her; it sounded more like Rei-chan. 'That's because I am Rei-chan!' "OH MY GOD!" Moshi screamed. Minako and Makoto jumped back in fright. "What is it?" Minako asked worried. She settled down in the chair next to Moshi. Makoto put a hand on Moshi's forehead, searching for any lumps or bruises. "Well, she didn't hurt herself. What's going on?" Moshi shook her head; her dark hair flew about her face. "You aren't going to believe this, I think Mosite's back!" Both girls reared back in shock. "Nani?!" 'I'm not Mosite! Baka Mo-chan!' Nope, that was Rei-chan all right. 'Oh crap,' Moshi thought, of all the people to become possessed by, it *had* to be Rei. 'I'm not exactly thrilled either,' Rei scoffed. Oh lovely, Rei could hear her thoughts also. It was going to be a long day. Makoto tapped Moshi lightly on the cheek, trying to get her attention. "Mo-chan, say something! What happened?! Why did you pass out?" Minako frowned. "Working all day makes Moshi a dull girl!" From the carrier, a loud cat-like sigh was heard. Moshi shook her head to clear the cobwebs. Everything was happening too fast. As Moshi recited what had happened, Minako and Makoto's eyes grew two sizes larger than before. Minako had even chuckled at the prospect of Rei's spirit inside Moshi. When Moshi muttered Minako's name in Rei's voice, the blonde had paled considerably. Artemis pushed his way out his carrier and walked over to Moshi, sitting down in the booth next to her. He sniffed at her and reared back. "I do smell Rei-chan!" 'Oh great, the cat sniffs us.' 'Quiet you,' Moshi thought. "Just a second here," Makoto said, folding her long arms. "Rei-chan, if you're in there, where did we go last weekend?" 'Can I use your voice? Ano, I mean can you say what I say in MY voice?' 'Sure.' "Simple, we went were here for about an hour and then we headed to the new shop downtown. You bought that new tablecloth there," Moshi countered, speaking in Rei's voice. "I thought it was a horrible pattern! I mean green and pink?!" The green eyes blinked. "It is, Rei-chan." Minako pointed out. "Yeah, Mo-chan's rarely that grumpy." "I am not grumpy!" Moshi countered as Rei. She then snorted at the comment and added. "And I was Queen Gaia in my former life." The table grew quiet and then busted out into snickers and laughter. "Okay, girls," Artemis started, twitching his long tail in a quickened pace. "If Rei-chan is in Mo-chan's body, that means her body is somewhere and we have to find it quickly!" "Maybe if we go to my place, I mean everyone should be there by now," Makoto commented, glancing at her watch. "Hai," Artemis said, as he climbed back into his carrier basked. "Minna, iku yo!" * * * * The cat and three girls, four if you count the spirit dwelling in one of them, made it to Makoto's apartment and found Usagi and Ami waiting at the door. They ushered them inside and quickly recounted the tale for a third time that day. Usagi couldn't stop laughing long enough to catch her breath. 'Baka Usagi! She would laugh at a time like this.' Moshi simply repeated what Rei had said. Usagi sat up and stuck her tongue at Moshi. "Rei-chan wa iji no warui!" She tried to remain serious, but only laughed harder. "Usagi-chan, what do you find so funny?!" Luna asked exasperated at Usagi's laughing. Usagi paused, taking a deep breath. "Of all the people Rei-chan hates, it's Mo-chan's body she wound up in!" Moshi (and Rei for that matter) gasped loudly, they wanted to scream when they noticed the twitching expressions of the others' faces, hinting that they wanted to laugh, but only Usagi had the nerve to do so. Moshi thought back to what she had talked to Ami about and smirked herself. 'What's so funny?' 'Well, it is true that we're not the best of friends.' 'And you find *that* funny? I swear, you don't get to know a person until you share their body.' 'Rei-chan no hentai.' 'ARGH!' "If we're done laughing," Ami stated, her red cheeks deflating. "We have to find Rei-chan's body and get her back there. I don't think it's a good idea to have her displaced for so long." "I'll say it is," Moshi stated. Usagi trained one blue eye on Moshi. "Who's speaking, you or Rei-chan?" Moshi frowned. "Me, Usagi-chan!" "Figures," Usagi retorted with a grin. 'Baka Usagi...' 'For once I agree with you.' * * * * The first task at hand was to find Rei's body and extract the demon that was inside. Ami had programmed her Mercury computer to search for any body type like Rei's. While she was scanning the city via computer, Makoto and Minako had transformed and went on a hunt for the errant body. Moshi and Rei were trying to keep from killing herself (or each other) with an amused Usagi watching on. "So, If I poke you, Mo-chan. Will Rei-chan feel it?" Usagi asked, holding a pencil in her hand. Moshi glanced worriedly at the sharp pencil and then at the expression on Usagi's face. "I guess so." *POKE* 'USAGI!' "YYYEEEOOOUUUCH!" Moshi screamed, batting the pencil away from a giggling Usagi. Usagi giggled louder and fell back against the couch, nearly squashing Luna. Luna groused. "Usagi-chan, you're squishing me!" 'I'm going to choke her.' 'Mind if I do it?!' Moshi thought. 'By all means!' Rei responded. Moshi reached out, grabbed Usagi by the front of her jumper, and shook her back and forth. Usagi was still laughing, saying how she could see Rei in Moshi's face. Ami was scanning when her communicator started to beep. Luna jumped from the couch and padded over to Artemis' side. "Mako-chan?" she responded. "Yeah, I think we found her and you guys better get down here. It's not pretty!" Makoto responded. She quickly gave Ami directions as to where they were. "Minna, iku yo!" Ami ordered, grabbing her henshin wand and Moshi by the arm and heading out the door. Usagi grabbed Luna and placed her on her shoulder, while Ami grabbed Artemis. * * * * It took the girls ten minutes to reach the area Makoto gave Ami directions to. When they reached the library, there were groups of people slugging it out in the middle of the street. Traffic was backed up for blocks and people were kicking, slapping, clawing, and scratching one another. Moshi stopped and felt her eyes grow large. "Kami-sama, what's going on here?!" 'I sense evil, that same evil I felt earlier!' "Rei-chan says she senses evil, the same she felt before!" Moshi announced. Artemis leaped from Ami's shoulder. "You don't think it could be another demon, could it?" Luna padded around, sniffing at the air. "I don't know, it could be." Ami nodded, quickly tapping away at her computer. "Venus and Jupiter should be over there!" She pointed towards the end of the block, which happened to be the place where a large mob had gathered. Usagi gulped. "You mean we have to go *there*?!" Ami nodded. "Yeah, we better get going." The three snuck off to a hidden part of the street that wasn't swarming with masses of fighting bodies. "Minna, henshin yo!" Artemis ordered. Ami put her computer away and held her crystal wand up. "Mercury Crystal Power, make up!" The clasp on the Eternal brooch opened as Usagi put her hand in the air. "Moon Eternal, make up!" Moshi grabbed her own wand and as she held it up, the infinity sign appeared. "Earth Infinite Power, make up!" Sailor Moon and Mercury watched as nothing happened. "Nani?!" Moshi exclaimed. Why couldn't she henshin? 'Baka, because I'm here! Remember!?' Luna gasped. "It's because Rei-chan is in her body!" "We don't have time for this. We gotta get Rei-chan's body back!" Moshi exclaimed. "You go ahead, I'll follow!" They turned to leave, but hesitated in fear that they would get hurt in the mad rush of the large brawl that was going on. "You girls go on, I'll stay with them," Artemis said. "Arigato, Artemis," Luna said before bounding away behind Mercury and Moon. Moshi slid to the ground at the base of a tree. "Now what?" Artemis came over and sat near her. "We'll wait until one of them contact you. Now, we'll stick it out here and make sure we don't get hit!" * * * * Venus and Jupiter had their hands full with an irate demon possessed Rei. They were trying to wrangle it and slowly lead it towards where Moshi was sitting. No such luck, it was almost as if the demon knew what they were trying to do and was heading in the opposite direction. Jupiter tried to make it turn around by heaving a Sparkling Wide Pressure, it only ducked and continued forward into the library. Moon and Mercury made the scene seconds later, asking for updates on the situation. "It ran into the library!" Venus cried, taking off after the errant body. Moon groaned. "I bet it's going for the roof!" Hundreds of stairs later, they tracked the monster to the roof. Each Senshi surrounded it, forming a diamond. Rei would have been furious if she'd seen the state her body was in. Her hair was standing up in a large puff and her eyes had a semi-deranged look to them. "What are you doing in Rei-chan's body!" Moon demanded, bringing her tier to bear. The demon whipped its deranged purple eyes on the winged Senshi. "Because she was angry! I love anger, I crave anger!" "Who are you?" Jupiter asked. The demon cackled, "I am Ain Gree! And I shall feast off all this anger!" Venus took her chance and shot a love chain out to wrap around the demon. Giving a yank, she pulled it off its feet and forced the chain to wrap tighter to bind the demon's limbs to its body. "Get Moshi up here now!" Luna cried. Mercury clicked on her communicator. "Mo-chan? Where are you!?" A voice came from behind Jupiter. "I'm over here." Not moving from their positions, each Senshi craned her neck to see which direction it came from. Holding Artemis in her arms, Moshi slowly walked forward. She bent over and placed Artemis on the ground and held her wand up. "We figured out how this worked!" She reached into subspace with her other hand and withdrew Mars' Crystal wand. "Earth Crystal Mars Power, make up!" Fire and light surrounded Moshi as she transformed. She gasped at the intensity of the heat. She heard Rei gasp also. 'Is this what you feel when you transform?' Moshi asked. 'Hai, and I assume this is the light you see.' 'Hai.' 'The light... it's beautiful...' 'The flames... it almost burns, but it doesn't hurt...' When the light faded, she was clad in a fuku that was a complete mosaic of her fuku and Mars' fuku combined. The lower skirt was red now instead of yellow while the top remained purple. Her wings and bows were replaced with that of Mars' as was her gloves. The bow in her hair was now a deep red and in her ears were two star earrings. She now had on Mars' heels instead of the white boots. The infinity symbol on her forehead was gone and replaced with a tiara. A silence fell over the people of the roof. The first to break the silence was Jupiter. "What the hell is THAT!?" "Never mind that," Earth-Mars said. "Let me get near the body!" Mercury walked backwards a few steps, allowing enough room for Earth-Mars to walk by. The demon looked up at the Senshi. "I know you're in there!" it screeched, scooting backwards across the ground. "You're not getting this body back! I can taste the anger. I want the anger. I'm hungry!" "It thrives off anger. It must have searched Rei-chan out when they had the argument earlier," Artemis supplied. It hissed at the cat and kicked again. "Hai, her anger was sweet, tasty. The anger of a priestess is much better than regular anger!" "Free it," Earth-Mars ordered. Venus couldn't believe what she heard. "What?!" "You heard me!" they snapped. "Free it!" Venus sighed and dropped the chain, it vanished before hitting the ground, falling apart in a golden shower. "Now, demon, you have to face us!" The Senshi powered up, the aura glowing with flashes of purple and red. They reached into a subspace pocket and withdrew an ofuda. "Akuryo Force!" The ofuda found its mark on the demon's forehead. "Now we've got you! Mars!" They threw a hand out to the side, the symbol of mars was suddenly swallowed by a purple flame. "Flame Boomerang!" They spun in a circle, heaving a flaming infinity symbol towards the demon. The boomerang connected with the ofuda, knocking the demon backwards. Instantly, it vacated the body and Rei was ripped from Moshi's body. 'Rei-chan!' 'Mo-chan!' Suddenly, everything went dark for Moshi. * * * * When Moshi finally came to, she slowly stirred and sat upright. She noticed that Rei was besides her, nursing a wound on her arm. Moshi grabbed Rei's hand. "Rei-chan, daijoubu!?" Rei cocked one dark eyebrow. "Of course I'm okay. What's this? You're concerned for my well being?" Moshi turned a bright pink as she released Rei's hand. "It wasn't you I was worried about." The dark haired priestess scoffed. "Oh really? Then who were you worried about?" Moshi sighed. "Rei-chan, so far I learned we have one thing in common. We both care about Usagi-chan." The comment stole any sharp comments that Rei was thinking to come back with. Giving in, she nodded. "We do." "I think this is a tad silly. Can we call a truce?" Moshi asked. For the first time since she had known Rei, the priestess smiled at her and the smile actually held some warmth. "Hai." Moshi smiled and suddenly grabbed Rei in a fierce hug. "ITAI! My arm!" Rei grumbled, shoving the taller girl away. "Well, we better get moving, we have a demon to kill!" "Right ahead of you!" Rei exclaimed, pulling her wand out. "Mars Crystal Power, make up!" "Earth Infinite Power, make up!" The other Senshi had finally cornered the demon again and were prepared to attack. Earth threw a boomerang to hedge it closer to the other Senshi. "Sailor Moon, get it now!" Mars ordered, rushing to her side. As Moon pulled her tier out, the demon suddenly rushed forward and grabbed Mars. Mars clawed at the demon's face with no success; it still had a steel lock grip on her shoulders as it plowed towards the edge of the roof. "Rei-chan!" Moon exclaimed. Earth rushed to intervene and was pushed sideways as Mars was released. Mars stumbled slightly at the sudden release and tried to upright herself. The demon quickly turned its anger back to Mars and shoved her from the roof. Mars' eyes grew large as her arms pinwheeled madly, searching for something to hold onto to prevent her from plummeting to her death. A loud scream came from Moon as she ran to the edge of the roof. "Mars!" Earth cried. Without thought, she dived after the Senshi. * * * * Mars tried to flatten her body against the wind, to prevent herself from falling any faster. She turned over and looked up. She gasped in horror as she saw Earth jump from the edge of the roof. Behind Earth, she saw the golden chain appear and wrap around one of Earth's ankles. She stretched, holding one arm up. "Mars!" Earth screamed, her dark hair billowed behind her like a cloud as she stretched forward, straining to grab the outstretched arm of Mars. Seconds later they connected and was suddenly jerked up as if they were on a bunjee cord. In the rebound, Earth wrapped both arms around Mars and clutched her close. For a brief second, both thought they were safe. That was when the chain snapped. "KAMI-SAMA!" Earth screamed as they started a second plummet to the ground. "Baka! Henshin into the knight!" Mars growled. Earth blushed again. "Oh yeah, I forgot!" She closed her eyes and concentrated on the sword. The infinity sign on her forehead glowed brightly. "Knight Power, come to me!" Mars saw the ground approaching closer and closer and she closed her eyes, muttering a small prayer. She felt the warmth of the light as it enveloped Moshi and she felt the fuku melt away and the cold armor appear. When she opened her eyes, they were hovering a foot above the ground. "I'm glad you remembered!" Utopia giggled. Together they hovered back to the top of the roof and landed with a small thump. "Rei-chan!" Moon cried, rushing forward and grabbing Mars in a hug. "It's time to end this thing!" Utopia cried, creating a infinity sign and covering her eyes. "Close your eyes, minna!" She rushed forward and brought the claymore over her head and swooping downwards at the demon. "Uhoh," Ain Gree squeaked. "Utopia Sword Illumination!" she cried as she sliced through the demon, cleaving it in two. The demon stood still, a thin line appearing down the center. Light appeared as the demon's body busted into a million pieces, followed by zigzags of golden light. "Yatta!" Utopia cried. * * * * When things had finally calmed down and they headed back to Makoto's place; Moshi took a long relaxing lounge in front of the television while the rest of the Senshi puttered around the dinner table. "Mo-chan, aren't you hungry!?" Usagi asked, stuffing her mouth with another odango. Moshi looked over the edge of the couch and shook her head. "No, not yet." Rei smacked Usagi's hand away from her plate. "If you don't hurry, odango here'll eat everything up!" Usagi simply stuck her tongue out at Rei. Moshi grinned. "In a second." Moshi was still reveling in the fact that her and Rei actually agreed upon something. They both admitted they cared for Usagi-chan. It may have been something small, but at least it was a start. Sighing, she jumped from the couch and headed to the table. "Oi! Odango-atama, quit hogging all the odangos!" "Mo-chan!" Usagi grumbled, slipping another odango onto her plate. Makoto smiled, handing Moshi a plate. "Don't worry, I have more on the stove!" Moshi grinned toothily before stuffing an odango in her mouth. She chewed, savoring the taste and swallowed.
