The Senshi wore golden bracelets on each delicate wrist and two long ribbons dangled from the rear of her fuku. Hoshi wasn't an idiot. He knew who this Senshi was; it was Sailorutopia, his future wife, and present girlfriend, Takanera Moshi. Looking up from his notebook, Hoshi noted the time. It was 10 PM. It was usually around this time when she appeared. He closed his book and turned off the light. Getting up, he went to his window and opened it. Again, she was there. A silent Sentinel standing guard, watching and waiting. He dared not move, nor speak. Whenever he did, she would vanish. "Moshi..." he whispered softly, watching the ribbons and her dark ponytail flutter in the nightly breeze. He couldn't understand why he had such a hard time understanding. Her past was a difficult as last week's Calculus problem. There were so many lifetimes, so many years. How could he compete with that? His lifetime was nothing but a mere blink to her and he was sure she would live on long after he was gone. So, why did she want him? Why did she torture him with her presence every night? It was so simple, he wanted to slap himself. Love. She loved him with every ounce of her being, but her duties as a Senshi came first and foremost. "I went through a lot to become the Senshi I am. Nothing in this world, not you, not Gaia, can make me give this up," she'd stated during one of their final conversations. "My soul is dark. I am still paying for my past crimes. Being a Senshi gives me a chance to finally redeem myself, my soul, and my future." He wanted to understand, wanted to just be with her. Deep within his heart, Hoshi knew that life would be nothing but extraordinary being involved with a Senshi. Since her birthday party, they'd talked and decided that it would be good to give him some space, a bit of time to think things over. He didn't want to come out forthright and say that his male-ego was sorely bruised at the idea she could protect herself and him if it came down to it. He couldn't help but remember the various emotions that played through her eyes. First, the hurt showed, followed by a flash of anger, confusion and in a final self-saving move, he saw the warmth seep from the very edges and be replaced by solid violet chips of ice. Those eyes scared him. It made him remember the steely gray eyes of her former life. Both eyes held that same coldness, a deep abyss of uncaring. Hoshi never believed that those eyes would be turned on him. The figure moved again, turning sideways. The moonlight flashed on her face, highlighting the high cheekbones and silvery tears in her eyes. "Moshi..." he whispered again, holding one hand out. Without notice, she turned and hovered away into the night. He wandered back to his desk and sat down, covering his face with his hands. There was a soft knock at the door and it slowly opened. "Hoshi?" a deep voice called, growing louder as the man entered the room. Tenchino Koichi flicked the light switch, flooding the room with brightness. He saw his only son sitting at his desk, hands covering his face. "Hoshi?" he repeated, grabbing a second chair and sitting next to his son. "Nani?" Hoshi replied, not moving his hands from his face. He couldn't bear for his father to see him crying. "Daijoubu?" Koichi asked. He really didn't need to ask because he knew his son was still tore up over the recent breakup. Moshi was the first girl that Koichi met with common sense. The professor was worried about the dating style Hoshi had chosen. Many fluffbunnies graced the Tenchino threshold and Koichi hated every one. "Is it Moshi-chan?" he asked, putting a hand on Hoshi's shoulder. Hoshi nodded, he definitely couldn't tell his father of all people that his girlfriend was Sailor Earth, no Sailor Utopia. Koichi was sad to hear about the breakup. Moshi, who affectionately called him, "Tenchino-papa," seemed to be the one for his son. She was smart, funny, and loved to eat his cooking. Something Hoshi hated because Koichi was a practicing chef in his free time. "I may not know what's going on, but I know one thing," Koichi started, sitting back in his chair and folding his arms. "If you've let something as ridiculous as say, something in her past, keep you two from being together, then son; you're an idiot." Hoshi felt his head snap up in shock. His father never said anything like that to him. "What do you mean?!" Koichi rapped his son lightly on the head with a fist. "I've seen the way she looks at you. The same look she gives you is the same way your mother looked at me. I can honestly say, I've never seen or felt that much warmth in a long time." Hoshi quirked one red eyebrow in question. "How could you know?" Hoshi's father laughed. "I'm a parent. I know all about my kid." The soft smile faded from the elder Tenchino's face. "If you're as serious about this girl as I believe you are, you'd better make things right!" "I will, papa!" Hoshi replied, jumping from his desk and grabbing his jacket. Koichi watched his son run from the room. "He could have waited till morning." * * * * As Hoshi exited his apartment building, he was followed by two blonde figures. One was slightly taller than the other and her hair done in the familiar odango style. The other had her hair pulled back in a bow. "There he is!" the taller one spoke. "You think he's going to see her?" the bow wearing one asked. The taller one nodded. "I hope so, or we'll have to deal with it ourselves." "To be safe, let's just follow him," Hair-bow suggested, earning a nod from her taller companion. Hoshi walked towards Azabu with two figures in tow. * * * * "For the last time, you're going to stay at Usako's!" Mamoru yelled at his stubborn younger sister. Moshi's violet eyes flashed with anger. "I am NOT going to stay there! You can't just keep dumping me here and there like a sack of luggage! I'm old enough to stay by myself!" Mamoru had enough time off to work hard on his second thesis. This would mean he had to devote large amounts of time outside the house and it would leave Moshi alone. Plus, Mamoru would have felt better, knowing she was safe somewhere else. He needed the time alone to concentrate on his work and sometimes Moshi was a tad too hyper for him. Mamoru glared equally cold blue eyes at Moshi. "It wouldn't be right. Besides, I know what trouble you can get into!" He tossed the empty gym bag at Moshi, catching her on the head. Enraged, Moshi snatched the bag off her head and shook it at Mamoru, emphasizing her words. "Trouble?! TROUBLE?!" her voice raised in pitch. "Remember the last time I left you alone? Who nearly burned the kitchen down cooking?!" A red flush crossed Moshi's face. "It wasn't me! It was Usagi-chan! SHE was here helping me cook!" Finally fed up with the argument, Mamoru put his foot down. "If you don't march your rump in there and pack now, I won't charge your debit card NOR would you be able to leave this house for a MONTH!" Silence echoed throughout the Chiba residence. Then, a loud wail. "NAAAAAAAANNNNNIIIIII?!" "Don't argue with me! MOVE IT!" Mamoru ordered, pushing her to the bedroom. Moshi marched to her bedroom, stalking past Mamoru and pausing in front of the door. "Expect revenge for this, Mamoru-san!" Mamoru heaved a sigh of relief when the door slammed behind her. "This girl will be the death of me," he stated to an empty room. Minutes later, a huffy Moshi appeared burdened with two bags and her school bag. "I'm ready, Mamoru-san," she said tartly. Shaking her head and tossing a dark tendril over her shoulder. She walked to the door and stepped into her sneakers. A brush appeared in her vision. "Brush your hair, you look like a wreck." "RU-CHAN!!!!!!!!" * * * * Hair-bow and Odango trailed Hoshi to Mamoru's apartment. All through the trip, Hoshi felt the odd urge of being followed. Every few steps, he would turn and look, but see nothing behind him. Shrugging, he continued, still feeling as if he was being followed. Hoshi walked to the large four-way intersection. Taking a risk, he dashed across the street and into the night. "Shimatta, he's making a run for it!" Odango cursed, taking chase immediately. Hair-bow quickly caught up with Odango, both running with the speed of deer. The pair followed the running Hoshi to the complex where Mamoru and Moshi lived. From a safe distance, they watched him enter the complex. Seconds later, a red corvette pulled to the parking lot and Mamoru appeared. "Is that him?" Hair-bow exclaimed. Odango nodded. "Yes, it is. He still looks the same!" "Weird, isn't it!?" Hair-bow asked. Odango nodded again. "Amazing thing that Ginzuishou." The two watched in silence as Mamoru entered the building and then exited a mere minutes later with Hoshi following. "She's over at Usagi-chan's for the week?" Hoshi asked. "You've told me how crazy her father can get. I'm SURE he won't let me see Moshi." Mamoru chuckled and clapped Hoshi on the back. "You'll just have to wait till tomorrow then." "Drat!" Hoshi fussed, clenching his hands into fists. Mamoru suddenly felt his sixth sense spike. Someone with magical abilities was around them and watching them. Trying to play it off, he chuckled some more. "Ne, Hoshi-kun, want a ride home?" Hoshi shook his head. "Nah, that's ok, Mamoru-kun. I'll walk back. I have to clear my head somehow. Ja ne!" "Ja ne!" Mamoru waved to Hoshi's retreating figure. When Hoshi turned the corner and was completely out of sight, Mamoru instantly transformed to the guise of Tuxedo Kamen. "Dare ka? Ide yo!" Kamen called out, bringing his cane to arm. "I know you're there somewhere." From the bushes, two figures appeared. Two Senshi, both blonde. Each was dressed in yellow and purple fukus, but the fukus looked like reversed mirror images of each other. The taller one, in the yellow and purple, had her blonde hair done in the same style of Usagi's. For a brief second, Mamoru thought she was Usagi, but there was something colder about this girl's stare. The second one, shorter than the first, had her hair pulled back in a purple bow similar to Venus', but her fuku was that of Sailor Earth, Sailor Neo Earth to be exact. The shorter one bowed. "Endymion-oji!" she said with a grin. "Shi-chan? Miko-chan?" Tuxedo Kamen asked with a stunned look. Both nodded. "Hai," the taller one spoke. "You're probably wondering what the heck happened." Kamen nodded, not saying a word. Miko grinned, showing her teeth. "And I bet you're wondering why we're blonde too!" Kamen nodded again, this time more vigorously. Shi sighed, transforming back to regular clothing. "It's a long story, Mamoru-san. Mind if we come in?" "No, come up," Kamen said, transforming back to his civilian form. "I'm sure this is a doozy." Miko grinned again. "Oh it is, believe me, it is!" * * * * Moshi may have not enjoyed being ensconced at Usagi's house for the week, but she didn't mind the loads of sugary snacks Ikuko seemed to keep on hand. The Tsukino household was loaded to bear with snacks to keep not only Usagi happy, but Shingo bouncing around as well. Moshi nibbled on seaweed chips as she watched Usagi down another bowl of ice cream. If both weren't careful, they would have to be rolled out the house in another week. "I don't understand it, how could you scarf down two bowls of ice cream?" Moshi asked as she shoved another chip into her mouth. Luna stretched and yawned, showing her sharp teeth. "This is nothing, she's actually behaving since you're here!" Usagi simply shoved Luna slightly, making the cat tumble across the couch. "I just wanted a snack, that's all! Can't a pretty girl have a snack?!" Moshi giggled. "I'm not knocking it, but I doubt this is conducive to our extra activities. If you know what I mean." With a grin, and well out of Usagi's reach, Luna added. "Oh that's all right, I'm sure your fukus will magically stretch in case of sudden weight gain." This time Moshi sent Luna on a tumble back across the couch. Usagi growled. "Next cat I get will definitely not be able to talk." "Yeah, I'll even help you pick it out," Moshi said with a grin. "Pass me more seaweed chips! I'm hungry!" "Wai!" Usagi exclaimed, handing the bag to Moshi after taking a handful out for herself. Luna muttered under her breath. "Just what I need, two Usagis..." * * * * "Mamoru-san?" Shi asked for the third time that night. She snapped her fingers before her future uncle, drawing no response. "I think we scared him," Miko said, glancing into the horrid stare of her uncle. "In fact, he's downright speechless." Mamoru's features trembled slightly. "I--I---I---" he stammered in repetition, unable to seem to get past a bit of information Moshi's children gave him. Nothing could have prepared him for the shock that was delivered. Not even the foretelling of Armageddon itself could have prevented this. "I---I--I--" he repeated again, this time his lips twitching ever so slightly as the information became even more clearer. "I didn't think he'd take it THIS hard." Miko said, nibbling on her thumb. Shi shrugged. "Me neither... seems we've got a long night ahead of us." Miko flipped a blonde lock over her shoulder. "At least we don't have to worry about him spilling the beans." Mamoru twitched again. "I--I---I--" Shi snorted. "I don't think we have to worry about him spilling anything!" * * * * Moshi yawned for like the fifth time during math class. She and Usagi stayed up late watching TV. She knew she had to be in bed, but somehow Usagi kept her up about a Sailor V marathon channel 5 was running. Now she was really paying for it. She finally understood how Usagi was always sleepy in class; the girl never went to bed before midnight! "Mo-chan, wake up!" Naru hissed, reaching over and poking Moshi with her pencil. Moshi yelped and stood up straight, scattering her notebook and pencil sideways. The students surrounding her laughed quietly, trying not to draw the teacher's wrath. Suugakuro-sensei threw her book down and marched to the back of the room, wielding her ruler like a lethal weapon. "Takanera-kun, if you can't stay awake like the rest of us, maybe you'd like to join Tsukino-kun in the hallway!" Moshi grabbed her notebook and pencil and sat back down. "Gomen, Suugakuro-sensei!" Suugakuro shook the ruler at Moshi as if to say, someday I'll get you. With a huff, the brown haired teacher walked back to the front of the room and resumed teaching. Out of all their teachers, Suugakuro was the harshest. She often commented on how she should be teaching university level and not dealing with a bunch of lead-headed dummies. Moshi tried her best to stay awake during math and prayed that biology class would start soon because that was when one of their nicer teachers, Matsumoto came in. Minutes later, Suugakuro wrapped up and let Usagi back into class, who was busted sleeping in the hallway. Moshi knew this because Usagi had a sheepish look on her face. She saw Ami shake her head when Suugakuro handed Usagi a pink slip. Detention again. Moshi heard Naru at her side gasp loudly. The dark haired girl looked at her friend closely. "Naru-chan, daijoubu?" Naru made as if she was reading her math book when she hissed under her breath. "The captain of the baseball team is staring at you now!" Moshi felt her eyes grow wide. Why would Okawa Yamada, the tall blond with dazzling bright blue eyes be staring at HER of all people. "You've been sniffing the eraser dust, haven't you?" Moshi said, feeling a cold trickle of sweat slide down the back of her neck. "If you don't believe me, look!" Naru replied, turning the page and mocking scribbling a formula. Moshi turned back to her book and dropped her pencil. As she went to pick it up, she looked across the room and saw Yamada staring at her closely. A red flush crossed his face as he fumbled for something to do. "Oh my goodness, he was staring at me," Moshi whispered back to Naru, who giggled with glee. "Maybe it's time you started dating, ne?" Naru prodded gently. It had been sometime since Moshi was on a date. Moshi flushed this time, turning pink to the tips of her ears. "I'm not interested in dating!" Naru blew a raspberry at Moshi and turned her attention back to her work. Moshi did the same, but keeping an eye on Yamada, who continued to stare at her during class. * * * * "Mo-chan, matte!" Usagi called as Moshi followed Ami, Makoto, and Minako out of class. "Nan da?" Moshi said as she turned around. The others paused, waiting for Moshi. "Will you wait for me? Please! Ami-chan, Minako-chan and Mako-chan said they wouldn't!" Usagi said, turning sad blue eyes on Moshi. Moshi groaned. She didn't want to wait another two whole hours for Usagi to get out of detention. "Gomen, Usagi-chan. I want to go have a snack and go take a nap." Moshi paused. She sounded like Usagi talking there for a second. "Um, and do my homework," she added. "Crap, Rei-chan's gonna yell at me," Usagi bemoaned. "Well, she's going to yell at me too, because I'm going straight home, er back to your house soon." Moshi sighed. She really wanted to leave. "No! You can't do that!" Usagi nearly yelled. "If my mom sees YOU home, she'll know I have detention!" "Fine, I'll just go back to the apartment," Moshi said, starting to get irritated. "I'll just make sure I'm back before curfew." Usagi let out a sigh. "I guess that's fine then. I just don't want to get put on punishment again!" Moshi, Usagi, and the others were still talking when Yamada and his cluster of friends walked by. Each girl felt her face growing hot. All of Yamada's friends were on some sport team at the school. "Oh my goodness!" Minako exclaimed, grabbing Moshi's arm and whispering into her ear. "Yamada-san is staring at you!" Moshi flushed and pushed Minako away. "Minako-chan!" she said huffily. "First Naru-chan and now you! He is not staring at me!" Makoto's jaw dropped when Yamada smiled at her and then to everyone else. "Takanera-san?" "And for the last time he is not sta--" Moshi paused mid-sentence and looked up into the blue stare of Yamada. "Nan da?" "I'd hate to be rude, but could I talk to you for a second?" he asked politely. Moshi nudged Minako away, who had gravitated back and was clenching Moshi's arm. "Sure!" she replied, instantly chastising herself for replying so eagerly. They walked to the other side of the hallway as both groups of their friends looked on. Yamada took a deep breath and cleared his throat. "Ah, Takanera-san?" Moshi cocked one dark eyebrow. He was acting too funny. People who acted in such odd ways often made her suspicious. "Hai?" Yamada dug into his handbag and pulled out a piece of paper. He held it up facing her for her to see. "This was my last Biology score." A large glaring 12 stared back at her. Even Usagi wasn't this bad in Biology. "Oh my," she replied. "I heard that in Biology, you and Mizuno-san-" he paused, a red flush crossing his face. "were tops in biology." Moshi stifled a giggle. Yamada had a crush on Ami! "Ah, understood. So do you want me or Ami-chan to tutor you?" When Moshi mentioned Ami's name, another flush crossed Yamada's face. "Yaa..." Across the hallway, Minako was going into a spastic dance. "He's blushing! Do you see that!? He has a crush on Mo-chan!" Ami shook her head. "He's probably embarrassed to have to ask her for help. He did after all made bottom on that last biology test." Makoto looked at Ami, both eyebrows raised high. "Sa, Ami-chan, jealous, ne?" This time Ami blushed. "I'm not jealous!" Usagi couldn't help but get her dig in too. "I don't know, Mako-chan, Ami-chan's turning red in the face here." "Usagi-chan!" Ami said in surprise. "I am not, nor will I ever be jealous!" Moshi fidgeted, were all guys this nuts about girls? Moshi wondered, did Hoshi ever act like this when talking about her? "Well, Okawa-san, I have some free time tomorrow if you'd like to study. As far as Ami-chan... well I'll talk to her." Yamada grinned widely. He grabbed her in a large hug, nearly lifting her off the floor. "Arigato, Takanera-san!" "No problem," Moshi said, feeling all her air being crushed out of her. "Just let me breathe!" "Gomen," he replied, setting her back on her feet. "What time tomorrow shall we meet?" Moshi glanced at her watch. "Hmm, meet me in the library at around five. I can spare two hours." Yamada grabbed her hand and pumped it eagerly. "Arigato, arigato!" He released her hand and dug into his bag again. "Can you give this to Mizuno-san for me? Please?" he said, turning sad blue eyes onto Moshi. Not one to deny love, even simple puppy love, Moshi took the letter, complete with a cute heart sticker. "Will do!" Grinning, Yamada started his hand shaking all over again. "Arigato, arigato!!" Face starting to cloud, Moshi wondered if introducing this ball of energy to Ami would be a good thing. "Just be there at five, I don't tolerate lateness." "Fine, see you at five then. Ja ne!" Yamada waved, walking back to his group of friends. Each one had an odd expression on their face. As soon as Yamada and his group were gone, her friends, who were firing questions off in rapid succession, overwhelmed Moshi. "Well? What did he want?!" Minako asked. Moshi shrugged nonchalantly. "He failed the last Biology exam and wanted help. Although, I can't believe why he didn't ask Ami-chan for help, she's clearly better at biology than I am." Makoto raised an eyebrow and glanced at Ami sideways, causing Ami to flush slightly. Moshi grinned though, feeling slightly catty. "Yamada-san has a crush on Ami-chan!" She held the letter out. "Jann!" "Iie!" Ami screamed, slapping the letter away from Moshi. Before she knew it, red spots appeared on her face, making her itch. Moshi paled and looked at the letter. Did he infect it with ebola or something?! "Nani?!" Minako sighed and took the letter from Moshi and opened it. "Ami-chan's allergic to love letters! Have you forgotten?!" Angrily, Moshi turned to Minako. "Well, I haven't forgotten because that interesting tidbit of information wasn't relayed to me!" Ami scratched at her face. "I'm going home. I'll see you guys later." She pulled a novel from her bookbag and walked with it covering her face. Moshi watched Ami walk away. "I hope she's not mad at me. I didn't know!" Makoto patted Moshi on the shoulder. "It's okay, it's not your fault." * * * * After the incident in the hallway involving Ami and a love letter, Moshi, Minako, and Makoto walked to fruit parlor crown where Rei was already waiting at their usual booth. "What took you guys so long?" Rei asked, scooting over to make room for Minako. Moshi sat down at one of the chairs, putting her bookbag on the floor. "What do you think? Usagi-chan--" "Has detention again," Rei finished, slapping her forehead. "You'd think she'd gotten it together by now!" "Speaking of which," Makoto started, fishing in her pocket for her wallet. "How is it going, staying with Usagi-chan I mean." "Where to start, where to start," Moshi said, pulling her wallet out her pocket. "It's definitely interesting, I'd say that much. But it's also nice because she has both her parents at home," she sighed, toying with a napkin. "I'd forgotten how nice it felt to have my mom and my dad there...now I'm just ..." she trailed off, fighting the sudden onrush of the urge to cry. She suddenly laughed, throwing one hand behind her head. "Oh forget it, never mind me! I'm just rattling off again!" Makoto and Rei had similar looks of empathy for Moshi, both knowing the feeling of not having both of their parents at home. Moshi put her hand on her chin and looked out the window. "I haven't thought of papa in months. I hope I'm not forgetting him." Makoto reached over and put a hand on Moshi's shoulder. "Nah, you possibly couldn't. It's been years for me, but I still remember my parents. It's just after a while, you learn to cope and keep them in your memories." "Arigato, Mako-chan," Moshi said with a smile. "Oi, look at me, bringing the whole mood down. I'm hungry, where's the food!?" she roared, banging a fist on the table. Rei looked at Moshi. "You sure you and Usagi aren't eating the house down!?" Moshi laughed. "Nope, Usagi-chan's taking care of that by herself!" She grabbed the menu and started to look at it. She was on the beverage side when she heard a collective gasp hit the table, seconds later, she felt Minako tugging on her sleeve. "Ano, Mo-chan?" Minako whispered. "What?" Moshi said, looking up from the menu. Minako said nothing as she pointed across the parlor. Moshi followed the line of Minako's finger, which led to Hoshi talking to Toshi at the counter. From the look of the conversation, she was CLEARLY enjoying it. What started to push Moshi over the edge was that Hoshi was actually smiling and grinning like an idiot. Rei, Minako, and Makoto huddled together in the corner of the booth as they saw the red flash of anger cross Moshi's face. Moshi slammed the menu down on the table as she stood up, kicking the chair away from her. "Mo-chan kowai!" Minako uttered as she watched her dark-haired friend practically stomp across the floor. If Moshi weighed 400 pounds, she could have stomped through the floor. * * * * Hoshi didn't want to be impolite, but this girl did all but physically throw herself at him. What he couldn't get over is how she looked almost identical to Moshi. She could have been her twin. Toshi batted her eyelashes, while giggling, at Hoshi. "Do you come here a lot? I just moved here recently." Inwardly groaning, Hoshi answered, "No, I'm just looking for my girlfriend." At the mention of a girlfriend, a frozen mask of anger slid in place on Toshi's features. * * * * Shi peered over the menu watching Hoshi and Toshi interact. She and Miko sat in booth on the other side of the parlor. "Mou! There she is!" Miko crumpled a napkin in one fist. "We've got to do something, but mama might see us!" "Shimatta!" Shi cursed. "There's Mama now!" "Poor Papa," Miko said sadly. "She's going to wring him for that one." Shi glared at her younger sister and folder her arms. Miko sighed and nodded. "I know, I know... " * * * * Thoughts of murder, mayhem, and massacre crossed Moshi's mind as she walked across the parlor. She had to ball her hands into fists to keep them from circling Toshi's throat as she approached the pair. "Hoshi," she said through clenched teeth, turning flashing violet eyes on him. Hoshi nearly jumped three feet out his skin when he heard the ominous tone. "H-Hai?" "Gee, couldn't just wait, could you?!" Moshi said, nearly yelling. All the while, Toshi stood with a smirk on her face. Moshi saw the smirk and whirled on her classmate. "Don't you even STAND there smirking, I haven't started on YOU yet!" Hoshi's green eyes grew wide. "Wait, you're misunderstanding this!" Toshi lunged forward and wrapped her arms around Hoshi. "Misunderstood what? Shi-chan?" "SHI-CHAN?!" Moshi and Hoshi said in unison, looking at each other and then Toshi. Moshi felt the hot sting of tears. Shi-chan? Wasn't that their daughter name? Or would that be was, she was sure they didn't exist at this moment, thanks to their reckless father. "Shi-chan?!" Moshi repeated, rolling up the sleeves of her school shirt. "You know, Makanera-kun, you've been asking for this for a looooong time." Hoshi saw the fire flashing in Moshi's eyes and knew if given a second, she'd rough Toshi up. "Moshi, calm down!" "You shut up, you--you red haired hussy!" she roared, pushing him away and getting in Toshi's face. Makoto and Rei were at her sides in a flash, pulling her back. "You keep your claws off of him, he's mine!" Moshi yelled as Rei and Makoto dragged her away from the grinning Toshi kicking and screaming. * * * * Shi and Miko watched what happened from the haven of their booth. They both watched as Hoshi fled the parlor with Toshi in tow. "Mi-chan, let's go," Shi said, getting up and pulling her wand from her pocket. "It's time for some intervention." Miko followed suit. "Ikuzo." * * * * Minako's eyes were wide as she watched Moshi decimate two salt shakers and a pepper shaker with her bare hands. Everyone kept a hand on her bookbag as Moshi looked for something else to destroy. "I should transform and shove a Cosmic lighting up her ass!" she growled, toying with the remains of the pepper shaker. The door of the parlor opened and Usagi came running in. "I'm finally free!" As she approached the table, she prepared to sit in the chair next to Moshi. Minako reached out, grabbed Usagi, and pulled her into the booth. Usagi blinked in confusion. "What's going on?" "That cow, I'll kick her ass!" Moshi growled, stabbing the remains again with a fork. A sweatdrop appeared on Usagi's forehead. "Um, who ticked her off?" "That Toshi girl, who else?!" Makoto said. Minako grinned. "Ah, but you forgot she was cozying up to Hoshi-san pretty good." A growl from across the table wiped the smile from Minako's face. "That red haired hussy, he thinks he's going to get away with this," Moshi mumbled. "I think she was just toying. You know how underhanded Toshi and her crew can be," Rei supplied. "I think she hit on him on purpose." Moshi grinned. "Just like how I'm going to kick her ass on purpose." "Yare, yare," Usagi said, scooting as far away from Moshi as she could. "Let's just have something to eat and maybe all calm down, ne?" Makoto supplied. "Whatever," Moshi said. Rei sighed and mumbled under her breath. "It's going to be one of those days." "Yare, yare," Usagi repeated. * * * * Toshi leaned against the wall of the arcade and let out a loud laugh. She couldn't believe the expression on Moshi's face! Moshi actually believed that she was dating her ex-boyfriend. "Boy, that girl is really gullible!" "You thought that was actually funny?" a voice asked. Toshi stood up and looked around. "Who said that?" "I did," the voice stated. Toshi whipped around to see a Senshi standing before her. The Senshi had her blonde hair done in the same style as Sailormoon, but her fuku was yellow and purple. "Who the devil are you?" "I am the Senshi that dreams are made of. I am Sailor Paradise," Paradise said as she stalked closer to Toshi. "I saw what you did and I'm going to warn you once and only once. Keep away from Hoshi." Toshi felt herself take a step back. This Senshi, unlike the others, was giving off an aura that reeked of destruction. "It was just a little joke that I played on old Mo-chan," she squeaked. "I don't think Moshi thought it was a joke," Paradise said with a sneer. She balled one gloved hand into a fist and used her other hand to back Toshi into a wall. "So again, I'm warning you. Leave Hoshi alone." "And if I don't?!" Toshi said defensively. "If you don't, the only thing that'll be left of you is a grease stain," Paradise stated, her violet eyes flashing. She reared back, bringing her fist up. Toshi whimpered and closed her eyes. When the blow didn't land, she opened her eyes. Toshi was alone and standing by the arcade. "What happened!? I don't remember seeing her before." * * * * Hours later, Moshi and Usagi found themselves back in front of the television. This was their fourth of many study breaks. Moshi glanced at her wristwatch, it was nearly dinnertime, but she'd had her fill of food and she knew Ikuko would get on her for snacking heavily, destroying her appetite. "I'm going to go finish my homework," Moshi said as she stood up and stretched. If she was lucky, she could just study and then crash, dodging the wrath of Usagi's mother. "Ok, I'll be up later!" Usagi stated, turning her attention back to the television. Luna padded up the stairs behind Moshi and followed the dark-haired girl into Usagi's bedroom. "Oh, you're going to stay up here with me, Luna?" Moshi asked as she turned Usagi's radio on and settled down at the table. Luna jumped on the tabled and curled up in a ball. "Sure, you're not as talkative as Usagi-chan. I can finally get a nap in." Moshi giggled and started to work. * * * * After dinner, Usagi wandered back upstairs to her bedroom. When she entered, she spied Moshi with her head down on the table and Luna curled up on the corner of the table. "And she was mad at me for not studying," Usagi snorted under her breath. She reached over, turned the radio off, and sat down on her bed. She grabbed her history book and opened it to the review questions that were due the next day. Moshi mumbled something and buried her head into her arms. Usagi thought she was waking up, but the soft snoring started again. Usagi looked up from her paper and saw that it was getting close to 10 o'clock, which meant she had a good two more hours before crashing. She turned her attentions back to history when a frantic yelp came from Luna. "Luna, what is it?!" Usagi asked. Luna jumped over to the bed and pointed at Moshi with one paw. "Usagi-chan, mite!" Usagi looked at Moshi and couldn't believe what she was seeing. It seemed that Moshi was pulling away from herself. A ghostly essence hovered around Moshi until it was fully formed. The spirit swirled and shifted, as if trying to decide which form to take. Usagi and Luna's jaws hit the ground when the spirit formed into the shape of Sailorutopia. Luna and Usagi's jaw hit the ground as they saw Sailorutopia walk away from the sleeping Moshi and head for the balcony. She looked over her shoulder at the pair and vanished in a gust of wind. Usagi jumped to her feet and rushed to Moshi's side. "Mo-chan?" Usagi asked, shaking Moshi. No matter how hard she shook, Moshi wouldn't wake up. *CRACK* Usagi winced at the force she used when she struck Moshi across the cheek. Thoroughly prepared to face her wrath, Usagi did it again. *CRACK* This didn't move Moshi, she didn't even grumble in protest. Her eyelids remained closed and her mouth dropped open in a snore. "Kami-sama, Luna!" Usagi exclaimed as she dragged Moshi over to her bed. "What are we going to do? She won't wake up!" Luna bounced over to Moshi and patted her face with one paw. "I don't know, we might have to wait until she wakes up." Usagi reached over and grabbed her phone. "I know what I'm going to do! I'm calling Mamo-chan!" Moshi only rolled over and grabbed Luna, crushing her like a stuffed toy. "Hayaku, before she squeezes me to death," Luna gasped. * * * * Hoshi made it back to his apartment around 9:30. His father left him a note, saying he made a quick run to the convenience store. "I bet he just needed more ingredients," Hoshi snorted, tossing the paper on the hall table. He hung his jacket in the closet and walked down to his bedroom. Out of habit, he looked out his window at the building across from him. He saw a figure pacing around the roof, rubbing its hands together in worry. "Moshi?" he whispered as he walked closer to the window and peered out of it, hoping to get a better view. Across on the roof, Utopia walked back and forth along the length of the roof; her gloved hands were clasped together and rubbing as if trying to remove some unseen dirt. Hoshi ran from his room, neglecting to grab his jacket, and ran out and down the stairs. He quietly picked his way up the fire escape, which led to the roof. He saw that Utopia was unaware that he was even here, something had her mind focused on something more urgent. "Moshi?" he said, walking over towards the Senshi. What happened next nearly made him faint. When Utopia turned around, he noticed he could see his room right through her. Oshimai, da yo! Next Arc: Um...er...
