The Inner Senshi sensed the change in the atmosphere also. Rei, even though she'd roughly shoved him, stood in front of Hoshi, ready to brave any sudden Moshi onslaught. The others quickly took noticed and moved into position. The group stopped whispering and suddenly broke apart. Anger stepped forward and spoke. "We've come to a decision." Mamoru and the Senshi stiffened. They didn't like the fact that Anger was being the spoke person for the group. Anger looked at her fellow Moshis. The different colored ribbons all bobbed as they nodded. She turned back to the others and continued. "We've decided to merge back together." Love shook her head. "Oh no, I'm not going back to THAT!" Anger glared at Love. "When I say we, I mean WE!" she snapped, motioning to the other four Moshis. Mamoru stepped in between Anger and Love to put off any fights. "Why won't you go back?" he asked. Love looked at Hoshi. "Because of him," she said flatly, her violet eyes shimmered with tears. "If I go back, it'll kill her." Everyone looked at Love in disbelief. Minako stepped forward and touched her on the shoulder. "You can't mean that!" "I mean it," Love said smartly. "I'm tired of constantly explaining him!" she pointed at Jadeite in frustration. "He's always harping about him. I've always told Hoshi I love him, not Jadeite! I wouldn't tell him to leave his best friend, but he always asks of me to do the same!" Mamoru turned to look at Hoshi and saw him cover his face with his hands. Tears started streaming down Love's face. "Time and time again, he complained and I told him that I would not forsake my friend simply because he was insecure. Of course, she," Love pointed at the statue of Moshi. "was too torn between her past and her future to get everything straight. It's best that I stay away. I'd rather she live than die pining for that idiot!" "Oh no," Minako said quietly. "I didn't know how heart broken she was." Hoshi sighed loudly. "I didn't know. I swear, I didn't know!" Rei looked at him. Anger was still visible in her violet gaze. "Well now you do." Jadeite glared at Hoshi. "It's the same as I told you before and you still didn't believe me or her! Some trust that is!" Before anyone could stop him, Hoshi was on his feet and in Jadeite's face. "Don't you start this again! This is YOUR entire fault!" "Oh don't blame me!" Jadeite roared. "I'm not the idiot that called my supposed girlfriend a cheat AND a liar!" Hoshi growled under his breath. "I never did such a thing!" The ex-general gave a harsh bark of laughter. "Really? Then what would you call it? Every time she explained it to you, you never believed her." Love sighed, more tears falling down her face. "See what I mean? More fighting, more arguing and nothing's happening. When she was Mosite, I didn't exist. I didn't come into existence until she became Moshi and she who loves Hoshi, not Jadeite. The bond they have comes from their past and what they went through together. The way I function with Jadeite is totally different than Hoshi." She walked across the room to the statue. Sitting on the edge of the couch she touched the statue's face. "Hoshi is the one she wants to be with, not Jadeite. Hoshi doesn't want to believe her, no matter how many times she says so. I'd rather she be like Mosite than have me back." Jadeite jumped to his feet. "You can't do that! Being Mosite again will kill her!" Love shook her head. "Better to be cold than live sick with a broken heart. Gomen nasai, Hoshi, you've hurt me," she paused. "us, for the last time." Usagi stepped into view, blocking Love's retreat from the apartment. "You can't just walk out like that! If you don't want to go back because of Hoshi, then do it for Moshi-chan's sake. She'll be worse off than before without Love!" Love looked at Usagi with watery eyes. "Usagi-chan, could you live, knowing that Ru-chan never believed a word you said?" When Usagi didn't respond, Love nodded. "I thought so." "Masaka," Ami whispered sadly. Rei took her turn and rushed forward. "Don't." was all she said, her own violet eyes shimmered sadly. Love smiled at Rei. "Arigato, Rei-chan. At least you knew how Moshi was feeling." Makoto spoke up. "You can't leave her. She'd never know what it'd be like to love again! How can you just give up when you fought so hard to exist?" "Hai," Minako added. "Sure she never had love before, but it you leave she'll lose her love for everything. Family, friends...even future spouses!" "Could you do that, knowing that even the love we have as siblings will vanish?" Mamoru asked softly, staring hard into her eyes. Love grimaced. "She's on her own!" She threw open the door and ran out, tears streaming down her face. "This is worse than before!" Miko exclaimed, giving chase with Chibimo on her heels. "Matte!" Usagi cried as the two girls left. "What are we going to do?" Ami asked. The room was silent while everyone pondered on what just took place. Hoshi quirked a red eyebrow as something caught his attention. "Is it me, or was their hair blonde, not black?" he asked. A cold bead of sweat slid down Mamoru's face. "Yaa..." * * * * He was standing in the parking lot of the apartment complex when he saw a dark haired girl wearing a pink bow dash from the front door and head down the street. Seconds later, two more girls appeared, these two were blonde. A smirk crossed his face as he saw his two targets follow the first girl. "They couldn't have made this any better," he said with a grin. He reached for the gun on his thigh and checked the clip. Two shots would be all he needed. Adjusting his gloves and trench coat, he silently followed. "Chibimo, Miko. You won't get away this time and your precious "daddy" can't help." * * * * "We'd better do it," Happy said with a grin. Sad sighed loudly. "I don't know, maybe Love was right?" "No, she wasn't!" Usagi exclaimed. "Love is confused. Moshi can't survive without her. I'm sure you all remember what it was like before!" Bad nodded. "It is true, but things were alot better when I was in control," she said with a grin. "We didn't have to worry about such sloppiness like Love." Anger let out a growl and glared at Bad. "We've already decided what to do, now let's do it!" "Hai!" the other Moshi's responded. One by one, they walked towards the couch until they formed a half circle. Happy looked over her shoulder. "We'll need the Ginzuishou." Usagi nodded and stepped forward. She reached up, unclipped the brooch from her bow, and held it out. The brooch opened, revealing the stone within. A bright light filled the room, growing and expanding slowly until it engulfed everyone. When the light dissipated, Moshi was left sitting on the couch, blinking bleary at the people standing nearby. "Nan da?" she asked, looking around the room. "Mo-chan!" Makoto exclaimed, rushing to her side. "How do you feel?" "Mako-chan?" Moshi asked. She blinked it again, it was so slow it was almost audible. "Fine, I guess. What's going on?" she asked confused. Hoshi looked at her, unsure of how she would react to his presence. "Moshi?" Moshi's head whipped towards him and a sneer crossed her face so harsh and ugly, he jumped back. "What the hell are you doing here?" she growled. "Wha.." Hoshi trailed off. "I said, why in the hell are you doing here?" she growled again, getting to her feet and getting in his face. "You've got some nerve being here after the way you've treated me!" "Uhoh," Jadeite mumbled. "Welcome back, Mosite." * * * * Chibimo and Miko were quickly gaining on Love. The siblings were so busy chasing after the wayward emotion that they didn't noticed that they were being followed themselves. "I keep forgetting mama once ran track!" Miko huffed as they rounded another corner. Something dark flashed in the corner of Chibimo's eye and reacting quickly. Rushing forward, she jumped onto her sister and threw them both to the ground. "Nee-chan!" Miko growled. A soft pop filled her ears and Chibimo groaned and slumped against her. She rolled under the weight of her sister and looked up and her eyes grew large. "Hello, Mi-chan," the man said mockingly, the barrel of his .45 pointed at her forehead. Love paused and turned. Seeing the two girls on the ground spurred her into action. Not even pausing, she charged forward and threw her body into the man, knocking him backwards and causing the gun to skitter away. Miko climbed from under Chibimo's limp body and saw why her sister fainted. A small nickel sized wound was on her side and slowly oozing blood. Love was pouncing on the man, knocking the air from his lungs. She repeated the jumping up and down until he passed out. "Transform!" Love screamed. Miko nodded. "Neo Earth Transform!" Bright purple and yellow light surrounded Miko, changing her clothing to the fuku of Neo Sailor Earth. Her right fist glowed slightly as she stood over the unconscious man. Love jumped to her feet and dusted her skirt off. "I'm going back for help!" "Hai, I'll take care of him," Neo Earth said, a grimace across her face. * * * * Back at the apartment, chaos was in full swing. It took everyone on hand to keep Moshi from literally killing Hoshi. "Rotten son of a bi—" Moshi bit out before Rei pushed her back onto the couch. The front door blew open and Love appeared. Her dark hair was a mess and tears were streaming from her eyes. "Minna! It's Chibimo and Miko! He's found them! They're in trouble!" At the mention of the siblings, everyone moved in to action. They rushed outside, with Mamoru dragging a fussing Moshi and waited for Love to give directions. Following the frantic emotion, they approached the spot where Love left them. "They're gone!" she squeaked. Mamoru skidded to a stop, releasing Moshi's arm. He felt his heart drop into his feet when he saw the sprinkles of blood on the ground. "Were either one of them hurt?" Love nodded. "Chibimo, he shot her." Rei gasped. "Like Hoshi-san?" Love nodded again. "She threw herself on Miko to keep her from getting hurt." "Where could have they went?" Usagi asked, her blue eyes growing large with fear. Mamoru rolled up his sleeve and got down on one knee. "I can find them." He touched the ground with a glowing hand and searched the Earth to locate them. Images of people around the planet breezed through his mind as he zeroed in on his nieces. His eyes flew open. "I found them. Ikuzo!" He stood up and took off in a run. Jadeite and Moshi watched everyone run off. He turned to her and said, "That was the power of the prince, our prince." Moshi nodded. "Hai, I know. I still remember it." Minako stopped and looked back. "Come on, you two!" * * * * "Neo Life Force!" Neo Earth yelled, sending the ball of energy at the man. With a grin he ducked sideways and let loose another bullet. "Abunai!" Paradise yelled. Holding her injured side, she shoved Neo Earth to the ground. The bullet whizzed past her cheek, leaving a scratch in its wake. "Total Confusion!" The dark cloud emerged from her tiara and surrounded the man. His steely grey eyes fuzzed over with confusion as he dropped the gun. Neo Earth took a chance and raced over, propelling her body into his, knocking him to the ground. She lifted one booted foot, prepared to kick him right where it hurts when Paradise stopped her. "Let's get out of here," she said with a wince. The edge of her skirt was now dark orange with blood. The two turned to leave and stopped short. Sailormars was standing before them. "Chibimo-chan," Sailormars said. Her violet gaze went to the wound on the girl's side. "Rei-san!" Paradise said with a sigh. "Is Mamrou-oji and Mama with you?" Mars nodded and pointed over her shoulder. The remainder of the group was finally reaching the area. Tuxedo Mask walked over to his injured niece. "Let me take a look at that." He reached out with a glowing hand. Paradise closed her eyes in relief as her wound was healed. "Arigato," she replied. He folded his arms and glared at his future nieces. "Now we need some answers. Who is he and why is he after Hoshi and you?" They both froze. Both pairs of eyes, blue and violet were huge and round with fear. "Ano…" Neo Earth started. "Wel—say, let's take Hoshi-san out of here? Ne, Mi-chan?" Paradise said quickly, grabbing Hoshi's arm. "Let's!" Neo Earth replied with a large grin, grabbing Hoshi's other arm. Together they turned to leave with a confused Hoshi, only to be stopped by an irate Utopia. "Just where do you two think you're going?" Utopia asked. The violet eyes were flashing with anger. "Uh—" Paradise stammered. "Uh-—nothing!" Utopia exclaimed. "We're going to get to the bottom of this and that means START TALKING!" she roared, balling her fists and taking a step forward. Jadeite rushed forward and put his hands on her shoulders to keep her from stalking forward. Paradise and Neo Earth shrank backwards and hid behind Hoshi. Hoshi didn't want to feel the brunt of her rage again, so he ducked out of the range of fire and hid Jupiter. "So you're still not talking?" Utopia said with a smirk. "I've just had about enough of this cloak-and-dagger nonsense!" The man on the ground started to groan. He moved to a sitting position and rubbed his dark cap of hair. "What---where?" "Venus, imayo!" Utopia ordered, pointing at the man with a finger. Venus blanched at the way Utopia was tossing orders. "Venus Love Me Chain!" The golden chain flew from her hands and wrapped around the confused man tightly, earning a slight squawk of protest from him. Utopia walked forward and kicked his gun away. She kneeled and looked him in his face. Paradise and Neo Earth had huge drops of sweat on their face. "Ara, don't get too close…he's dangerous!" Paradise advised. Utopia cocked a dark eyebrow at the man. "He doesn't seem scary," she said to Paradise. When Paradise seemed to choke on a response, she turned her attention back to the man. "Now, what's your problem?" She cracked her knuckles. The man strained against his restraints, when they wouldn't give away, he let out a loud sigh and looked up at Utopia. "If I wanted you to know, I'd tell you!" An evil grin slid across Utopia's face as she grabbed the front of the man's shirt. Before anyone could do anything, her fist connected with the side of his jaw. "Now, I'll ask again," Utopia said, still grinning. "What…" *punch* "Is…" *punch* "Your…" *punch* "Problem?" *punch* By the time she was finished, blood was seeping from the corner of his mouth and he was sagging against her. Tuxedo Kamen rushed forward and yanked Utopia away from the even more confused man. "What are you doing?!" The look in her eyes scared him to the core. "I'm trying to get to the root of the problem. No one wants to talk, so I figure I'll beat it out of him." The grin on her face widened at the prospect of beating the man. Kamen felt a lump form in his throat. The level of brutality of Utopia's questioning had quieted the rest of the Senshi into a stunned silence. A loud groan escaped the man's lips as he pushed himself up onto his knees. The love-me chain melted away, freeing his arms. He gingerly touched his bruised jaw, testing to see if it was broken. For a teen, she had a good left hook, one more punch and it would have broken. "I thought you senshi were all about love and justice," he joked, spitting out what looked like a loose tooth. Utopia turned her attention back to the man. "Gomen, that's Sailormoon's territory," she said with a scoff, hiking a thumb at a stunned Sailormoon. "I, however, am a bit different. Now, are you going to answer my questions, or do I need to tap your jaw one more time?" The man didn't speak; he lifted his gaze to Utopia's face. She felt a shiver run down her spine when her eyes connected with his gray ones. "Shimatta!" she cursed and jumped back. Paradise and Neo Earth squeaked and took a step back as Utopia rounded on them. "Wait, what's happening here?!" Jadeite exclaimed. "What did you find out!?" She cursed under her breath before speaking out loud. "This man here…" Utopia trailed off. "Is my son." Before she could catch herself, Paradise cursed, "Kuso!" To be continued Oshimai, da yo!
