Moshi, Makoto, and Usagi were downtown browsing store windows after school. They were in search of dresses for the party held at Juuban high school next week. Moshi had looked at the flyer every night, smoothing the crinkled paper and imagining what it would be like.

"This will be my first party in a long time," she said to Makoto and Usagi. In her hand was the same flyer.

Usagi smiled. "Even though Rei-chan isn't going to go to Juuban High, she's coming to the party too!"

Makoto clasped her hands and sighed. "Maybe I'll finally get a boyfriend!"

Moshi sighed as well. She remembered Unazuki telling them that most of these high school parties ended with new relationships being forged. "I would like a boyfriend too. And finally get married!"

"That's kind of sudden, isn't it!?" Usagi asked, looking at Moshi sideways.

Moshi flushed. "Look who's talking!" she said. "Mamo-chan, this. Mamo-chan that," Moshi said, mimicking Usagi's voice.

Usagi turned red and Makoto stared at Moshi. "How did you do that?!"

"Do what?" Moshi asked.

"Make yourself sound like Usagi-chan?" Makoto asked intrigued.

Moshi shrugged. "I've always been able to imitate people. I guess it comes with the ring," she said, flashing the Ring of Metamorphosis.

Usagi grabbed Moshi's arm. "Say, can you do Rei-chan?!"

"Usagi!" Moshi said, making her voice sound like Rei's.

Makoto and Usagi started laughing. "That sounds like her!" Usagi giggled.

Moshi glanced at her watch. "Oi, we better get going or Rei-chan'll really yell at us!"

Usagi looked at her own watch. "Ugh, more studying. If there's anything I can't stand, it's studying."

Moshi looked at Usagi. "Now it's studying? Last week it was carrots."

Usagi made a blanching face. "I still hate carrots."

It was finally the day of the party and Moshi still didn't have a dress. She'd spent the last two hours calling her friends and ranting about not having a dress. One last call to Minako put her fears to rest.

Moshi hung up the phone and raced upstairs to her room. She passed her mother on the stairway. Miko grabbed her daughter by the upper arms.

"Mo, don't run so fast! You could hurt yourself!" she chastised.

Moshi flushed. "Gomen."

Miko smiled at her daughter. "So, are you ready for the big dance?"

"Hai, I even have a dress now!" Moshi said, grinning.

Miko nodded. "Good, I'll be in my study. Just come get me when you're ready to leave."

"I will!" Moshi said, rushing up the remainder of the stairs.

Moshi was brushing her hair when her phone rang. She put down her brush and jumped on her bed, snagging the receiver. "Moshi moshi, Takanera desu!"

"Mo-chan!" Usagi exclaimed. "My dress is ruined!"

"Oh no!" Moshi cried. "What happened?"

"Luna, catnip and claws, that's all I can say," Usagi said with heavy menace in her voice. In the background, Moshi could hear catlike shrieks.

"Oh dear. I didn't have a dress, so I'm using my ring," Moshi said in a lowered whisper, just in case her mother happened to be passing by.

"Ah!" Usagi said. "Thank you! I can use my pen!"

"We'll be the best dressed girls there!" exclaimed Moshi, bouncing up and down on her bed.

"Hai!" Usagi replied, with the same enthusiasm. "I'll see you there! Ja ne!"

"Ja ne, Usagi-chan!" Moshi replied, hanging up the phone.

She jumped from her bed and looked at her outfit in the mirror. She was only wearing an old dress so her mother wouldn't be wondering why she suddenly had a new dress. Moshi turned up her nose at it. It was clearly old, but was the only good dress she had. She looked at the glittering ring on her finger and started to grin, she'd make sure to ask for a beautiful dress, something close to the fashions she often saw in Setsuna' window.

She grabbed her dress shoes and bounded down the stairs. "Momma!" she called, rounding the banister and heading for her mother's office.

Miko's head peeked from the office room. "Ah, you're ready. You look great!"

Moshi shrugged. "It'll do."

Miko emerged from the room in her jacket. "Let's get going, I'll drop you off."

"I don't need you to pick me up, mom," Moshi said. "I'll walk home with my friends."

"It'll be late," Miko said as she trained her brown eyes on her daughter.

Moshi sighed. "Fine, it'll be over at ten." She held her hands up in a gesture of defeat.

Miko placed a sweet smile on her face. "Good." She patted one of Moshi's odangos.

Groaning, Moshi fixed the patted odango. She really hated when her mom did that.

* * * *

Never one to be late, not even for a party, Ami staked out a small spot on the steps and waited for her friends to arrive. She was wearing a one piece pink dress with matching earrings and shoes. On her hands, she wore pink kid gloves. In her hair, she wore a pink butterfly clip.

Ami looked at her watch, it was still kind of early, but students were starting to fill the grounds and streamed into the gymnasium. In the distance, she saw Minako and Makoto walking to the gym.

She stood up and waved. "Over here!"

Minako spotted Ami and tugged on Makoto's arm. Minako was wearing a dark blue dress that matched the dark blue bow in her hair. Makoto had on a black dress with matching shoes. The dress had dark pink roses in the background similar to that of her earrings.

"Ah, Ami-chan, early as always!" Minako said once they were in earshot.

Ami smiled and sat down. "I'm looking at what everyone else is wearing."

"Yes, they're really dressed for this," Rei said, appearing from the gymnasium. She was dressed in a two piece white suit.

"Wow," Makoto said. "You're earlier than Ami-chan!?"

Rei shook her head. "I walked in on the other side. I had a feeling you guys would be out here."

Minako looked at her watch. "Only people left are Usagi-chan and Mo-chan."

"Of course Usagi may run late," Rei grumbled.

"There she is!" Ami said, pointing past the large crowd.

Usagi was dressed in a pale blue dress that flared at the waist with matching shoes. She had pale blue beads around her odangos with matching earrings and necklace.

"Looking sharp," Minako said, nudging Usagi in the ribs when she made it to the steps.

"Mo-chan's not here yet?" Usagi asked.

The four shook their head. "Haven't seen her," Makoto supplied.

Ami was standing on the tallest step, peering past the large group that had gathered on the stairs. "Wait, I think I see her!" Ami said.

"Where?" Minako asked, jumping up on the step next to Ami. "Oh my goodness, you should see this dress she's wearing!"

Before the others could get a peek at her, she'd vanished in the crowd. All they could see were the tops of her odangos, which had yellow beads around each one.

"Excuse me, pardon me!" Moshi cried, pushing her way through the crowd. They all seemed to ignore her because she was so short. She had to pinch some people to get them to move and when that didn't work, she had to resort to tugging and pushing.

She was almost near the steps when she ran into a solid wall. "Oof!" When she looked up a pair of dazzling green eyes stared down at her. Along with these eyes was one of the most handsome faces she'd seen.

"Gomen!" she apologized quickly.

"No need, I was in your way. I'm sorry," the tenor voice apologized. When she started to push past, he called out. "Hey, maybe you'll dance with me later!"

Moshi didn't respond. She was blushing too hard to muster up anything to say. It took her a few more minutes to reach the stairs. "Minna!" she called out, waving.

"Mo-chan!" they said in unison when they saw her.

"I love your dress!" Minako exclaimed, running down the stairs and standing next to her.

Moshi smiled. "Thanks!" Moshi's dress was a yellow Chinese silken dress that had a small slit on the side to her knee. The dress had small purple flowers and her shoes were yellow flats with straps around the ankle.

"Well," Moshi started, looking at her new friends. "It's party time!"

"Hai!" they all yelled, punching fists in the air for exclamation.

* * * *

It was a half-hour into the dance, and everyone else had someone to dance with except Moshi. Every guy that asked her to dance, turned out to be a guy that was half human and half octopus. She had seriously considered finding a small corner to change her dress back with the ring.

One guy wouldn't take no for an answer and had spent a majority of his time hunting her down and trying to get her to dance. She had found refuge at the snack bar, but squid boy had found her again.

"One dance is all I ask!" he begged.

Moshi growled. "Didn't I say no?" She felt one hand curl up into a fist.

"I'm sorry!" he apologized. "It's just that you're very beautiful and I would like to dance with you!"

"I already danced with you, eight arms!" Moshi spat out. "Or did you forget my knee connecting with your groin!?"

He reached out and grabbed her upper arm. "It's just one dance!"

Moshi's eyebrow twitched with anger. She was nearing the end of her rope and was ready to belt this guy clear across the gym. "If you don't take your godd--"

"Didn't you hear the lady?"

Moshi looked over her shoulder to see the same guy from outside.

"She said she didn't want to dance with you. Now I suggest taking your hands off of her," he said in a menacing tone.

"He's so cute!" she thought, feeling herself melt.

"Who do you think you are?!" her groper growled, pulling her next to him. "She's with me!"

He quirked one reddish brown eyebrow. "Oh really, if she's with you, then what's her name?"

The groper's face fell. "Kyoko!"

"Wrong, bunky!" Moshi said, elbowing him in the stomach, causing him to release her upper arm. She massaged the sore area, noting the large purple bruise. "And if you even breathe on me, I'll kick your butt!" she roared.

Her groper bowed awkwardly and scuttled back into the throng of dancers.

She cursed under her breath about forgetting where she was while massaging the sore area. When she looked up, she noticed her rescuer still there.

"Are you okay?" he asked with concern etched across his handsome face.

Moshi felt herself start to flush slightly. "I am, thank you."

He smiled, showing his white even teeth. "It's not every day I get to rescue a midget."

Moshi looked at him. "Midget?!" Great, just when she thought he was the prince on the white horse, he turns out to be another idiot.

He must have seen something cross her face. "I'm sorry! I didn't mean to offend you. Look, would you dance with me?"

Moshi folded her arms, the silk rustled slightly. "I'm too short to dance with you, Jolly Red Giant."

He laughed, his voice rumbling. "Okay, we're tit for tat. Now will you dance with me?" he asked, holding out a hand.

Moshi took his hand. "Fine, I will."

Minako and Makoto were making their way to the snack bar with their partners. "Oh, look who Mo-chan's with!" Minako said.

Makoto grinned. "Ooh, she's got a good one!"

Maeve peaked over Shizar's shoulder, glancing at the book of spells. "Mind if I suggest something, Shizar-kun?" Maeve said in his ear.

Shizar felt shivers skitter down his spine. He had stopped thinking the moment she leaned against him. "Sure," he croaked, cursing at his voice. It sounded like a pre-pubescent teenager!

Maeve smiled. "Maybe you should send this one." She leaned closer, and pointed at a name in the book.

Another shiver passed through Shizar when the soft skin of her arm caressed his cheek. "That sounds fine," he said, closing his eyes.

He stood up, and walked to his crystal ball. He placed the book on the small golden stand and flipped the pages to the spell. Maeve sat down in his seat to watch the spell casting take place.

The lights in the chamber flickered as some unseen wind surrounded Shizar, lifting his golden hair from his brows. His golden eyes flashed as he spoke the unmentionable words that were age old to people of his kind.

The ball flickered and a beam of light appeared. Maeve could hear a faint tune being played somewhere. The light formed a solid shape of a man.

"Shizar-sama," the man said bowing.

"Ongaku," Shizar said, pointing at the crystal ball where an image of Moshi and the other senshi appeared. "Go here and kill them."

Ongaku bowed again. "Hai, Shizar-sama!" in a flash of light and sound, he was gone.

Maeve cocked a silver eyebrow at Shizar. "Impressive."

 * * * *

Moshi bit her bottom lip. She dreaded the slow songs that were starting to play. That would mean he'd hold her close and she barely came past his chest!

"Are you okay?" he asked.

"I'm fine," she replied.

"There's a slow song playing. Want to dance?" he asked.

Moshi nodded and took his hand. "This might be a bit awkward. You're so tall."

"Not really," he said. In a swift motion, he lifted her up in his arms and held her close. Moshi blushed again, she didn't' know what it was about him.

Students around them whooped at the movement and cleared the dance floor for them. Rei and Ami, who was near by, gawked at the spectacle

"This is embarrassing!" Moshi exclaimed, glaring at him.

He winked at her. "But I like this. I get to look into those beautiful violet eyes."

Moshi flushed again, feeling her face growing hotter by the passing second.

"You know, if you keep flushing like that, you're going to faint from blood loss," he joked, swinging her around in time with the beat.

When the song finally ended, he put her down on her feet. She swayed a bit, as if trying to get used to gravity again. "This may sound weird," she said, "but I don't even know your name!"

He smiled again, flashing those teeth. "Well, my name is--"

He was cut off by a large scream and before Moshi could even respond, a pair of hands grabbed her and hustled her out of the place.

"What's going on?!" Moshi asked, recognizing the hands as Rei and Makoto.

"It's the enemy!" Usagi said, pressing herself against the wall as a wave of students ran by.

Moshi moaned. "I was so close to learning his name!"

Ami had her henshin wand in hand. "Gomen, but we have to handle this!"

Moshi sighed and reached inside the top of her dress for her star. "Let's go."

They pushed their way back into the gym, cutting across the floor and heading for the bathrooms.

Makoto put a garbage can by the doorway and Rei checked the stalls. "It's clear!"

The bathroom was filled with the calls of transformation as each girl transformed into their sailor fukus.

"Let's go!" Venus ordered, opening the window.

* * * *

A group of students were trapped in the gym, including the guy Moshi had danced with and the octopus. They were running around in search of an exit, each closed off by the crazed man.

"What are you?!" one asked.

"Just give me Sailorearth and no one will be harmed," Ogaku ordered, looking around the group. He saw one girl with dark hair and compared her to the mental picture. It wasn't her.

"I'm over here!" Sailorearth called out, jumping from one of the few unbroken windows.

Ongaku turned around and growled.

"Jinsei to enaajii no, seera fuku bishoujo senshi, Seeraaasu!" As she posed her ponytails flared. "Mugendaini kawatte, oshioki yo!"

The rest of the senshi jumped down to her side. "To, Sailor Team!"

"Blah blah," Ongaku said. "You and I both know why I'm here, Earth, so let's just get this over with."

"Geez, these guys should unionize," Earth said.

Mars raced forward. "Then I'll start!" She drew a circle of fire around herself. "Burning Mandala!" Circles made of flames shot from her hand and scorched Ongaku's suit.

The minion hopped around wildly, batting at the flames that started to lick at his skin.

Laughing, Venus attacked. "Crescent Beam!"

"Sparkling Wide Pressure!" Jupiter cried, heaving a disc made of lightning at Ongaku.

Following, Mercury used her Shine Aqua Illusion and Earth used her Life force attack.

"Sailormoon!" Venus cried.

Moon held her hands out and the holy grail appeared between them. She held it up and the top opened spilling light out. "Crisis, make up!"

Ongaku backed away towards the group of stunned students. He reached into the crowd and grabbed one of them, using them as a shield. "Don't even think about it!" he crowed, holding the struggling guy next to him.

"Oh no!" Venus cried.

"It's him!" Earth whispered to Mercury. It was the guy she danced with earlier, fighting to escape the minion's grasp.

"Let him go!" Mars yelled.

Ongaku wagged a finger at Mars. "You don't really think I'm that stupid! Us Minions are far more intelligent than those Diamon and Youma you've dealt with!"

The Senshi were stuck. There was no way any of them could attack without hurting the young man.

"Help!" he cried, struggling against the arm.

"Let him go!" Earth cried, rushing forward and tackling the pair. The guy spun away from the minion, leaving Earth pinning him to the floor.

Ongaku pushed Earth away so hard, she slid across the floor and slammed into the guy she danced with.

"Hello," he said, helping her to her feet.

Earth flushed slightly before bounding off back into the action.

"That's odd, she looked sort of familiar," he said to himself.

* * * *

By now, they had the minion backed into a corner. Each Senshi were firing attack after attack with no signs of him weakening. Only after Jupiter hit him with a Supreme thunder, did he then fall down.

Supersailormoon saw her opening and went for it. "Rainbow Moon Heart Ache!"

Ongaku scrambled to his feet as he saw the large heart approaching. As it surrounded him, he yelled. "Lovely!"

After he was dispersed, a loud applause reached the tired Senshi's ears. Sailormoon had changed back and was now sitting down; tired from the amount of energy she'd used.

Helping Moon, Jupiter and Mars jumped to the window. Mercury, Venus, and Earth followed.

The Senshi went back to the bathroom and crawled into the window and un transformed. Makoto peered out the door as if checking to see if everything was okay.

They emerged from the bathroom and heard the loud chatter of the stunned students.

"Oh man, the Sailor Senshi were here!" a few stated.

Moshi was busy looking for the guy she'd danced with when they made it outside, she never got to know his name.

"I see my mom," she said, twisting the ring, turning her dress back into the drab tan one she had on earlier.

"Don't worry, Mo-chan, I'm sure you'll see him again!" Usagi said, placing a hand on Moshi's shoulder.

"I know, but still. It was nice to know that I had a prince," she said as she waved goodbye to her friends and ran for her mother's car.
