Chapter 14: Trouble on Earth

WARNING: One thing takes a turn for the weird.
Moshi wiped a tear from her eye as she saw her mother board the
plane. Her mother was going to france for a month or so to do business
with another ad agency, Takanera Miko worried for her daughter, it would
be the first time ever she left Moshi home alone.
"Don't worry okaa-san," Moshi had said, twirling her finger in her
ponytail. "I'll stay with Usagi-chan or one of the other girls!" Not that
Moshi would ever lie to her mother, but she would be staying with someone
alright, but not one of the girls. Her and Mamoru decided that this would
be a great time for them to catch up and just hang out as brother and
sister.
Miko smiled at her daughter, she was growing up so fast. Soon her
little Moshi would be in high school and then college. "You be good, I
know you will." She planted a kiss on Moshi's forehead and embraced
her.
A silver tear slipped down Moshi's cheek as she saw her mother's
plane head into the bright blue sky, taking her to France where she would
be out of reach for so long. Armed with her duffel bag of clothing, she
left the airport. Her destination, Mamoru's apartment.
* * * *
Imitar cursed loudly, how could the little brat continue to survive.
"Curse those damn children of her's!" he screeched, throwing his throne
across his chambers. A few guards scattered away from his wrath, catching
an object here and there. Shizar failed him, he shouldn't have never
trusted the mage, always heavily relying on spells that rarely worked.
Deep inside he knew that Maeve should have been the Captain, she had the
killer instinct. She knew how to take an order and how to get it done.
"Shizar, Maeve, Valtork get in here NOW!" he bellowed. A bright
golden light appeared as Shizar faded into view, his golden hair flowed
down his shoulders as he bowed before Imitar. Behind him a tiny ball of
silver light flickered as Maeve shimmered before them. She curtsied to
Imitar, her silver eyes twinkling brightly and her ponytail sweeping the
ground. Valtork entered the room in a flash of bronze light. His
burnished armor glittered in the fire of the chamber torches. The three
knights all wondered why Imitar was so angry, they each took a seat in
their respectable places before Imitar. Maeve produced a small silver pen
and notepad from one of her many pockets on her cape, ready to take notes.
It was such behaviour like this that gave her many brownie points with
Imitar.
He morphed in anger, switching through every person he ever imitated.
The one that constantly shown was Sailor Earth, the one person that stood
between him and total domination over the Earth. "It has come to my
attention that a certain golden knight, whose worthless name I will never
mention, failed to kill Sailor Earth!"
Golden eyes enlarged in fear. Shizar wondered who could have told
Imitar he failed. He glanced around the room, his eyes landing on the
smug face of Valtork. That tratious knight, he would do anything to be
captain. That would mean he would have to get Shizar and Maeve out of the
way. ' That little pissant, he would sell his own mother out, if he
had one! ' Shizar thought has he stood to his feet, he knew if he
didn't die today, his death would be coming soon.
"Milord, permit me to explain--" he started, his throat clinched in
fear.
Imitar morphed into Sailor Moon, pointing his finger at Shizar. "I
will let you do no such thing. You were warned Shizar, I said if you did
not kill her, I would kill you myself!"
Valtork's bronze eyes flashed as he said, "I agree milord, kill him
and let us continue with our mission!"
Shizar backed away slowly, holding his hands out in front in a
defensless gesture. "What ever he said about me, he lied!" He looked to
Maeve, his eyes pleading with her, 'don't let him kill me!'
Maeve gasped, Valtork was selling Shizar out! "Milord, please don't
kill Shizar. I believe him, he didn't fight Sailor Earth, he knew if he
didn't kill her you would kill him! Don't take his life please!"
Valtork stood up, his bronze cape swirling. "Don't listen to me?
Milord, you said it was wrong for any one of us to get involved with one
another, Maeve and Shizar have been carrying on for quite some time!"
A mental picture of a cat being let out the bag filled Shizar's mind
as he turned to Valtork. "Do you want to tell him what color underwear I
have on too, you tratious BASTARD!"
Maeve growled as she stood to her feet. She drew herself to her full
height, her silver eyes glowed in the dull chamber light. "I say this now
Valtork, if anything happens to Shizar, I will personally hold you
accountable..."
"You son of a bitch! GOLDEN SPIKE!" Shizar screamed, pointing his
finger at Valork. A spike of golden energy appeared and slammed into
Valtork's breastplate, leaving a hole the size of a basketball in his
chest.
"ENOUGH!" Imitar yelled, morphing back to his misshapen black mass.
"Shizar, Valtork told me nothing. I was there that day in the park when
you tried to attack Sailor Earth. Remember the duck in the pond...that
was me."
Shizar choked, he did see a duck in the pond. He slapped himself in
the forehead, for that mistake he should be killed. Imitiar slowly
descended the steps of his throne, his shapeless body jiggling and
quirking like a bowl of black jello. He reached what seemed to be a hand
out, and snatched the golden chain with the red pendant from Shizar's
neck. His neck felt as if it was set ablaze, "My..power!" Shizar said,
frantically trying to get the chain back. His golden armor faded, until he
was standing before them all nude. Maeve slightly blushed, she never seen
him nude before.
Imitar turned to Maeve and removed her silver necklace and replaced
it with the golden one. Her armor faded from the bright silver to a rich
gold. She was now the Golden Knight, Captain of the Metallic Guards. "No!
she cried as tears flowed from her now golden eyes. Her hair turned a
bright blond as every trace of silver was erased from her.
"I should have made you Captain a long time ago Maeve," Imitar said
as he returned to his throne morphed in the form of Sailor Mars. Valtork
turned his greedy eyes back at Imitar, focusing on the silver chain that
dangled from his hand.
"Goodbye Shizar," Imitar said, pointing one finger at Shizar. Black
energy poured from his finger, eveloping Shizar's being. A loud
bloodcurdling scream, forced Maeve to cover her ears. Shizar was being
slowly crushed to death.
The black cloud lifted, leaving a crushed and nearly dead Shizar
before everyone. Maeve rushed over, her golden cape fluttering behind
her, she kneeled before the hapless body of Shizar and gently picked his
head up, cradling him in her lap. "Shizar, don't leave me!" she said,
tears flowing down her cheek, splashing on his face.
Shizar turned his fading eyes on Maeve. "I....am....dying," he said
as a spasm wracked his body. "I Love you, Maeve. aways have and always
will." A blood bubble formed at his lips as he gazed in Maeve's eyes. He
took one deep breath and death became him. Maeve threw her head back and
screamed. Her grief washed over her in waves, pulling her deeper and
deeper in it's surf.
Valtork, now the Silver Knight, ambled over with a dangerous leer on
his face. "Now he's out the way, what do you say you and I get together?"
Instead of an answer, he recieved a firm slap in the face.
"I warned you, I hold you responsible for his death!" Maeve spat at
Valtork as she stormed over toward Imitar's throne. She balled her fists
in anger as she uttered before him. "What is you want me to do milord" She
curtsied, bowing her head so Imitar wouldn't see the hate brimming in her
eyes.
Imitar leaned forward. "I want you to kill Sailor Earth." He
vanished, leaving Valtork and Maeve alone. Maeve threw a hateful glance
at Valtork as she walked out, past her lover's body and into the hallway.
She ran into Shizar's study and quietly cried herself to sleep.
* * * *
"Ok ok, what's your favorite color?!" Mamoru asked, him and Moshi
were playing 20 questions, to get to know each other better.
"Purple and Yellow and Tan," she answered, scribbling something madly
on her notepad.
He knew she was coming up with questions every second. He raised
his hands in the air as a sign of defeat. "Whew, I'm tired and it's
getting a bit late. Well midget, let me show you to your abode and I'm
crashing!" Mamoru said, standing to his feet. Moshi grabbed her bag from
the corner and followed.
The room he made for her was painted a pale lavender. The bed had a
yellow bedspread with yellow pillows and ruffles. This room was a stark
contrast to the way his room was decorated. "Somehow, I had this room
painted lavender. I guess I now know why," he smiled.
Moshi beamed back at him. "Yep, it's for me!" She threw herself at
him wrapping her arms around him. "I'm so glad I'm staying here Ru-chan."
"Me too Midget, me too." he returned her hug. "Oyasumi Midget," he
said, as he went down the hall into his room.
"Oyasumi nasai, Ru-chan," she said, as she closed the door to her new
room. She threw her bag on the bed, opened it, and proceeded to unpack.
She placed all her fukus in the closet and her casual clothes in the small
chest of drawers. She kicked her slippers off and flung her self onto
the bed. Turning over on her stomach, she spied a lavender phone on the
night table. As if the phone knew it was being stared at it rung
sharply.
Picking up the reciever she said, "Moshi Moshi, Chiba residence."
A high pitched voiced came through. "Moshi Moshi, Mo-chan!" It was
Usagi. "So, hows life with big brother?"
"Oh real cool, he even had a room that was painted my favorite colors!"
"That's neat, oh wait, Shi wants to speak with you."
"Why is Shi there, I thougt she was at Rei-chan's."
"Nah, My mom thinks she's you anyway. Did you know your kid can
imitate you real good??
"Of course, us Earth people are good mimics!"
Giggling Usagi said, "Here's your kid."
Usagi passed the phone to Shi, who gripped it eagerly. "Moshi Moshi
mama, genki desu ka!"
"Genki desu Shi, is something wrong?" Moshi bit on her fingernails, a
bad habit she was trying to break for the longest.
"Iie, nothing wrong, all is good. Miko is with Minako-san. You know
how she adore her."
"I know, it's scary but sometimes she even acts like Minako-chan"
"Anyways, mama. Something is up. I can feel it, I just wanted to
tell you to watch your back. Luna confirmed my suspicion when she said
she had a funny feeling as well."
Moshi gulped, more trouble on the way. "I bet it's Imitar, anyways
I'm ready for him or whatever he throws at me."
Shi and Moshi talked for a few more minutes, before Ms Tsukino
knocked and reminded them it was time for bed. Usagi ushered Chibiusa
into bed as Shi said her goodbyes to Moshi. Hanging up the phone, Moshi
went to her closet and donned her purple nightgown. Snuggling under the
huge comforter, she closed her eyes and drifted off into slumber.
* * * *
The next day everything went like it was a regular day. Moshi actually
made it to class on time and so did Usagi! Today was a short day, they
only had class until noon. Moshi giggled in glee, for today she would put
her operation make over in action. She finally recieved her fuku from the
school and she wanted a dramatic change in her hair. She wasn't planning
on wearing the fuku until she changed her hair. It's not that she didn't
like her odangos, it's just that her odangos made her look like a small
child, while Usagi's made her just look like her mother, Queen Serenity.
She would suprise them all when they meet at Rei's place after school.
Only Ami, Usagi, Makoto and Moshi had the half day. The rest had a full
day. Shi attented Minako's school and Miko went to Juuban elementary with
Chibiusa.
Before Sekano-sensei could even say, 'Class dismissed.' Moshi sprinted
out the door. A few stragglers in the hallway fell into the path of the
hurricane wearing odangos. Running like a madwoman she burst out
the front doors and headed for the intersection. Tripping over a ponytail
but still determined, she dashed across the intersection, heading for
Crown's Beauty Shop.
"That's another reason you fellows are about to get chopped off!" she
uttered to her hair as she entered the door. The door chimed,
voicing her arrival. Moshi looked around the beauty shop, there was women
of all ages and all walks of life here, just to get their hair done. She
surveyed a rack of magazines when a girl no older than her approached her.
"Youkoso to Crown's Beauty Shop, watashi no namae wa Chitako, I'll be
your headoressaa,' she smiled, her brown eyes flashing brightly.
Moshi returned the smile. "Konnichi wa Chitako, I want to cut my
hair!" Moshi said, gripping her bookbag.
Chitako's face lit up with joy. "All that lovely kurokami, you
want to cut it all off?"
Moshi shook her head. "I want a couple of inches gone, I'm tired of
tripping over my hair!"
Chitako led Moshi to an empty chair. Moshi had to hop up into the
chair because it was a bit up off the ground. Settling in she put her
book bag on her lap as Chitako tied a bib around her neck. "Now, how do
you want to do this?"
"Just keep cutting and I'll tell you," Moshi said, a wicked grin
slowly spread across her face.
* * * *
"She seemed in a hurry today when she left biology," Makoto said,
passing the bowl of potato chips to Ami, who took a couple and passed it
on to Minako.
"I usually walk with her," Usagi said, placing a couple of chips on
her napkin.
"Did she have to meet Mamoru or something?" Makoto asked Shi.
Shi looked up from her newspaper. "No, she told me nothing about it.
I hope nothings wrong." Her hand went to her slipknot around her neck.
"I had something to take care of!" Moshi said as she entered the
room, She wore a dark scarf tied over her head.
"Oh," Rei said, pretending not to care, while inside she was teeming
with curiosity.
With a flourish she removed the black scarf and spun in a circle.
Usagi gasped in shock as she noticed that Moshi's odangos were gone!
Moshi had trimmed her bangs to where they looked like spikes that framed
her eyes. On each side of her face she had a dark tendril by her ears.
Her hair was upswept in a high ponytail as her hair spilled down the back
of her head like a black fountain. The ponytail flipped up at the
end.
"Kami-sama!" Usagi said in one breath. "Where are your odangos?!"
"I chopped them off, I couldn't take tripping over my hair anymore.
I haven't tripped yet ever since I cut them off. Also my head feels
lighter!" Her voice then took a more serious note. "I don't need the
odangos to remember my history with the moon kingdom. That honor of the
odango belongs to you Usagi-sama," Moshi said as she sat down across from
Ami who nodded and smiled.
"Now that everyone is here, I have something to say," Luna started.
She jumped from the table and sauntered over to Moshi. "Mo-chan, I have a
feeling that something will be happening soon and I want you to be on your
guard. Please, please, please, remember to have your henshin star with
you." She eyeballed the front of Moshi's jumper, her star was gone.
Moshi grinned sheepishly as she pulled it out her bookbag and placed it on
the table.
Rei looked up. "It's no joke, I've been getting the same sensations.
Something is near, and I don't know what it is. It could be Imitar."
"Hai," Ami started. "We have to all be on our guard, and remember to
watchout for the small senshi."
"Like I told Shi last night. If it's Imitar I'm ready for him. With
my cyber suit, I just may be a match for him," Moshi said.
Rei turned to her. "Yeah but it would be real dumb if you get
yourself killed!"
Moshi stood up and put an arm around Rei's shoulders. "Oh Rei-chan,
bestill my girlish heart. You sound like you care!" This sent Minako off
in gales of laughter as Rei's face turned red. Usagi snickered a bit,
leave it to Moshi to turn something as serious as this into a moment of
humor.
"I'm concerned about Shi and Miko!" she answered, whirling around to
face Moshi.
Moshi feigned buffing her nails on her shirt. "You mean your little
acolyte Shi, come on Rei-chan we all know how she adores you." A gagging
sound emerged from Rei as Shi blushed brightly.
"Nani?!" Rei said.
Moshi blinked. "I mean she idolizes you Rei, I've noticed how she's
changed since she's been here. I didn't mean it like she had a crush on
you or anything," she said, placing a look of pure innocence on her
face.
"Settle down, we have some serious business to discuss!" Ami said,
rapping her hand on the table, drawing everyone's attention. "Good, now
where were we?"
* * * *
For three days Maeve sat in Shizar's chambers crying her eyes out.
That runt Valtork traded Shizar's life in just for a spot higher than that
of the lowest knight. If it wasn't for Valtork, no if it wasn't for that
brat Moshi a.k.a Sailor Earth she would still have her Shizar here.
"Curse that bitch, I swear I will drink her blood!" she cursed as she
slammed a few books on the gold table. Never would anything here be
her's, it's all Shizar. She could still see him standing in the corner,
perusing through a spell book, his golden eyes flickering across the
pages.
"I just need to bone up on spells and that chick is history." As she
scanned the books in search of that ultimate spell when a thought
permeated into her brain. If Imitar could morph and change, maybe she
could. Closing the book she stood before the mirror, she closed her eyes
and concentrated. Once she opened them before the mirror she stood in a
school girls fuku, one similar to that of Usagi's. A sly grin spread
across her face, all she had to do was keep an close eye on Moshi, and
when Moshi least suspected it, attack and kill before she could
henshin!
"Prepare to meet your maker Earth brat," Maeve said. Throwing her
head back she cackled loudly, so loud her cackle was heard througout the
citadel.
* * * *
Moshi swear she felt a pair of eyes boring into her head. She
adjusted the bow on her new blue fuku and clipped on her henshin star, she
didn't want to be caught without it. The new fuku she had was all blue,
the only other colors in it were the white stripes on the edge of the
shirt, sleeves and collar and the bright red bow in front. She was a bit
early for class, but she didn't want anyone to see her in her new fuku
yet, she waited by the entrance door for Ami, Usagi and Makoto. The
first to arrive was Makoto.
"Ohaiyo Mo-cha--whoa new fuku ne?!" Makoto asked, walking around
Moshi to see the whole outfit.
"Hai! Kakkoi ne? It may not be just like the one's Ami and Usagi
has but it's closer than that pink abomination I wore before!" Moshi said,
smiling.
Makoto smiled back, but couldn't contain it any longer. Before Moshi
knew it, Makoto was howling with laughter. "Bwahahahah!"
Moshi looked at Makoto with bewilderment. "Nani?!" she asked, wanting
to know why was Makoto laughing.
"I'd hate to be the one to do this to you Moshi, but. um...that's a
elementary school fuku!" She screamed 'fuku' loud and continue to
laugh.
Moshi's cheeks stained a bright red. "ELEMENTARY!!!!!!! IIE!!!" She
grabbed Makoto by her shirt and shook her. "Say it isn't so!"
"What isn't so...oh mygod," Ami said, pointing at Moshi, she heard
Makoto laughing down the street.
Makoto looked at Ami, her green eyes flushed with tears. "Exactly!!!"
She continued to laugh, while the blush stained Moshi's entire face.
Usagi ran up to them and stopped as soon as she spotted Moshi.
"That's bad," was all she was able to say before she collapsed into
laughter. Moshi wanted to cry, she was wearing an elementary fuku, a fuku
most girls at the age of 8 wore!
"Ami, you're not the only one laughing, why are they laughing so
hard!" Moshi said, beginning to whine slightly.
"Well," Ami began, fighting the urge to laugh. "That's not any
elementary fuku, it's Juuban's elementary fuku." The ringing of the class
bell cut anything else that was about to be said. Fuming Moshi walked
into Juuban with a laughing Usagi and Makoto following. Makoto patted her
on her head, laughing even more as she went into 2-6. Ami went across to
2-5 and Moshi and Usagi headed to 2-1.
"Usagi you say anything and I will kill you," Moshi threatened when
she saw Usagi open her mouth.
Passing other students in the hallway, all eyes were on the girl in
the elementary school fuku. Taunts laced the air, such like, "Where's
your backpack little one!" "Aww Usagi brought her little sister to school
today"
When she passed Umino and Naru, she grabbed Umino by his shirt and
pulled him close. "You say anything Umino, and you're eating that
bookbag..you understand?"
Umino gulped as a big sweat broke out on his forehead. "Ha-ai" He
said, cringing away from Moshi.
A girl with golden hair and eyes passed by Moshi, her gaze swept up
and over Moshi as she walked by. Moshi recieved a shiver down her spine
as the girl smirked and continued by. Moshi didn't like the feeling she
recieved at all. "Usagi-chan, did you feel that?" Moshi asked, keeping her
eyes on the girl till she rounded the corner.
Usagi was watching the girl also. "Hai, I don't know who she is, but
I suggest keeping an eye on her."
Moshi glanced down at her watch. "Gah, we're going to be late again.
We gotta change out our shoes!" She said, grabbing Usagi's wrist, dragging
her over to the lockers. Usagi and Moshi quickly changed into their soft
soled, white school shoes. Skidding down the hall, they quickly dashed
into the door of 2-1. Haruna-sensei was waiting, as usual.
"Oh Kami-sama, what am I going to do with the two of you!"
Haruna-sensei raged, her nostrils flaring with anger.
"Gomen, gomen, gomen!" they said in unison, their cheeks blazing with
blush. Sensei cracked her ruler on the desk, causing Moshi and Usagi to
scamper away in fear.
Once seated Usagi turned to Moshi and whispered, "What crawled up
under her skirt today?!"
Before Moshi would answer Haruna-sensei was at Usagi's desk in a
flash. "I'll tell you what crawled, it's this math score. Your math
score, Usagi. This score has crawled even lower than the last!"
Moshi blinked, Usagi was in for it this time!
Usagi's face crinkled in fear, if she brought home another bad one,
her mom was going to obliterate her! "It can't be, I studied!"
She slapped the paper down on the table, causing Usagi's books to
fall to the floor in a clatter. "Look, does the red pen lie?!"
Moshi and Usagi looked at the paper, a glaring 25 stomped over her
name. Moshi covered her ears and put her head on the desk, she slowly
waited for the wailing to start.
Usagi's blue eyes filled with tears, "It can't be, I studied,
honestly Haruna-sensei. My mom is going to KILL ME WAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!" She
cried, opening her mouth, releasing the full wail.
* * * *
After school, Usagi grabbed Moshi as she was walking out of the
classroom. "Mo-chan, I need your help!" she whispered harshly, herding
Moshi to the lockers.
Use to being dragged now, Moshi only replied, "Now what?"
"Well," Usagi said as she placed her shoe on her left foot. "I was
wondering, you know that neat little ring you got?"
A dark eyebrow raised. "What do you mean?" Moshi stopped tying her
lace and folded her arms, her eyes flashing intently.
Usagi winked. "Just be me to give this paper to my mom, will ya?"
Moshi's eyes flew wide open. "You've got to be kidding me!"
"Kidding you how?" Makoto asked, she already had her shoes on, ready
to walk home.
Moshi turned, smiling at her friend for a moment. "Mako-chan! You
won't believe what idiotic thing she wants me to do!"
Makoto grinned. "What is it now?"
"She wants me to imitate her, to give her mom the bad test!" Moshi
frowned, she didn't like using her ring for stupid things.
Makoto laughed, placing one hand on her forehead. "That's one of the
most craziest things ever."
Moshi snorted. "I'll say."
Usagi filled her eyes with fake tears and got on her knees. She
tugged at Moshi's skirt. "Onegai, Mo-chan. Only this once, I beg of you!!"
she said, forcing tears down her cheeks.
Ami walked by, noticing the spectacle Usagi was creating. "What's
wong now?" she asked as she walked over.
Makoto filled Ami in on what was taking place. "She wants her to
imitate her?" Ami asked.
"Yeah, so that her mom won't kill her...she'll kill me!" Moshi
interjected, her cheeks slightly red.
"Oh this I've got to see!" Ami said, nudging Makoto in her side.
"I want to see it too!" Makoto said, pulling Usagi up from the
ground.
Moshi fussed at Usagi all the way to her house. "The nerve of some
people, using my power of metamorphisis like this," she grumbled and
kicked at cans. She scuffed her sneakers on the ground, cursing under her
breath.
"Ok Mo-chan, we're alone do your thing!" Usagi said, watching Moshi
closely, she liked watching her transform into other people.
Moshi shoved her bookbag at Makoto. She threw her hand into the air
and called, "Ring of metamorphisis, turn me into Tsukino Usagi!" The tan
stone glittered as small infinity signs, emerged and surrounded her. She
grew a inch in height as her hair turned into two blond odangos with long
ponytails. Her blue fuku turned into a juuban fuku as her purple sneakers
turned into a pair of black flats.
"Let's go," Moshi-as-Usagi said, clearing her throat.
* * * *
After the incident, and Moshi escaped safely,the girls met at their
favorite place, the ice cream shoppe. Moshi scarfed two banana splits as
Usagi watched on. They sat around talking, seems that Usagi was enjoying
reliving the fantastic escape Moshi put into place. "..then she cried,
imitating me. 'I promise to do better okaa-san!!'" she paused,
laughing.
Minako's eyes grew large. "You actually imitated Usagi so that she
wouldn't get murdered?!"
Moshi grumbled and settled deeper in her seat, wincing slightly.
Ikuko landed a good swat on Moshi's behind before she exited the house.
"Yeah, now can we talk about something else please!"
Rei smirked and jabbed Moshi in the side. "Aha," was all she said.
This caused Moshi to stick her tongue out at Rei. Minako and Rei teased
Moshi until that same girl from earlier entered the shoppe.
"Moshi it's her!" Usagi whispered, nudging Moshi in her side.
Moshi looked up from her split. "It is!"
Rei shuddered as a weird feeling skittered down her spine, leaving
her cold. "Minna, I don't like this feeling. Get ready." She pulled her
henshin pen out her pocket, ready to transform.
"Hai," Makoto said, putting her hand in her pocket, Shi also gripped
her henshin pen tighter, for she was getting an odd sensation herself.
"I'm glad Chibiusa and Miko aren't here. I wouldn't want them to get
hurt," Minako said, her hand inching closer to her henshin pen in her
pocket.
Ami nodded, her own hand was resting safely on her henshin pen.
"It's good that they're not. I'm glad Mamoru-san took them to the
park."
The girl was wearing a Juuban fuku. She had her golden hair pulled
back in a severe ponytail that almost brushed the floor as she moved. Her
golden eyes glittered as she took her ice cream cone and sat directly
across from the senshi. "If you're going to stare, at least take a
picture. It's more polite that way," the girl said, her words heavily
doctored with sarcasm. Turning her attention back to her ice cream cone,
she hurridly gobbled it in a few well placed bites.
Rei had a sharp insult on her lips when three girls entered the
shoppe. They were all tall, but the girl with the short blonde hair was
the tallest, her eyes focused ahead as he tried to decide what he wanted.
The second girl was shorter, her hair was a beautiful sea greenish color.
The words 'elegant' and 'graceful' came to mind when describing her. The
other girl had lovely dark green hair that was pulled in one odango while
the rest of her hair spilled down her back. The moment she spotted them
Moshi knew it was the outer senshi, the ones she met earlier at Imitar's
citadel. She doubted they would know her here in the present.
The girl finished her cone and walked over to their table. The girl
with the sea green hair, noticed what was happening. She tapped the tall
blond and pointed. The three new girls watched in silence.
Moshi casually looked up from her split. "Can I do something for
you?" Her words were the same exact biting sarcasm the girl uttered
earlier.
The girl leaned over and whispered in Moshi's ear, "It's your fault
Shizar's dead...and I'm gonna make you pay."
Moshi's eyes flew open in fear. Shi shoved the girl away from Moshi
as she gripped her henshin pen. They couldn't transform in the shoppe,
too many people were watching.
"Anata!" Moshi said as she jumped to her feet, her henshin star and
bracelet glittered in the shoppe's light.
The girl cackled as she curtsied. "Maeve at your service!" She
flickered her arm across her body as her golden armor slowly replaced her
school girl fuku and encased her body. In her hand she held a tall golden
staff, that was decorated with a large globe on the end. Maeve twisted
the staff in her hand as she hurled her golden staff at Moshi. Makoto
grabbed Moshi and ducked out the way, bits and pieces of wood flew
as Maeve attacked the table.
"Minna, mamo Moshi!" Minako said, shoving Moshi out the way. Maeve
was only aiming for Moshi. Moshi screamed and fled, leaving out of the
ice cream shoppe with the senshi, Maeve and the unnoticed girls in tow.
She glanced around to see if anyone was watching. She removed her star
and threw it into the air. "Earth Star Power...Make up!" The star
twirled over head as ribbons of purple and yellow energy cascaded onto
Moshi turning her into Sailor Earth.
Minako yelled. "Minna, Henshin-yo! Venus Star Power...Make up!" The
power of Venus flowed through Minako as she became Sailor Venus, her blond
hair blew slightly in the breeze as she stood, waiting for her fellow
senshi to make up.
Shi twirled her henshin pen like a baton as she yelled. "Paradise
Power..Make up!!" The energy of the earth transformed her into Sailor
Paradise.
"Jupiter Star Power...Make up!" The heavens opened releasing it's
lightning and thunder, turning the tall brunette into Sailor Jupiter
Ami stopped and took a deep breath and grabbed her pen. "Mercury Star
Power...Make up!" Ice cold waters surrounded her turning her into Sailor
Mercury. She twisted her earring making her VR visor appear.
A wicked grin slid across Rei's mouth as she twirled her henshin pen
and called, "Mars Star Power...Make up!" The rushing heat engulfed her as
flames appeared and transformed her into Sailor Mars.
Usagi removed her brooch and held it up. The compact opened,
revealing the crystal embedded within. "Moon Cosmic Power...Make up!" A
large heart surrounded her as pieces of her fuku assembled.
"Sailor Mercury, do you see anything usual?" Sailor Venus asked as
she got closer to Sailor Earth, Sailor Jupiter noticing what Venus did,
mimiced the same gesture.
Mercury shook her head as she glanced around. "Nothing, it's
like...she vanished!"
"We gotta get away from here, innocent people could be hurt," Sailor
Earth said as she thought about Mamoru and the two smaller senshi.
"I don't think so!" a voice said a split second before a large ball
of golden energy slammed into the ground, scattering the senshi like
confetti. Sailor Earth winced as she sat up, she noticed Paradise
struggling to stand up.
"She's strong!" Sailor Mars said. "Burning Mandala!" Circles of fire
appeared and surrounded Sailor Mars and gathered in her hands. The
circles shot out towards Maeve, who only brushed them off.
Jupiter's thunder rod appeared as lightning flowed into it.
"Sparkling..Wide hot pressure!!!!" She clapped her hands together creating
a disc of lightning, like a baseball player she hurled it with all her
might at the golden armored Maeve.
She swirved to the side and charged Sailor Jupiter. Sailor Earth
threw her body onto Jupiter, throwing them both to the side. "Wait
Jupiter, concentrate!" Sailor Earth pleaded, as she closed her eyes and
placed her hands in a praying gesture. "Say the first words that enter
your mind!"
While Sailor Mars and Venus fought Maeve, Jupiter closed her eyes and
concentrated. Words formed in her mind as she could feel not only the
power of Jupiter, but that of Earth flowing in her veins. Sailor Earth
stood next to her, a rod similar to Jupiter's appeared in Earth's tiara,
except it had two and it branched up in a V. The energy of Sailor
Earth coursed between the rods in a pulsing wave. They both pointed a
hand into the air and yelled, "Lightning Rod!!" Together they formed a
large rod of lightning and projected it towards Maeve. She didn't see it
coming until too late. It smashed into her armor, throwing her into a
building.
"Sugoi!!" Sailor Moon yelled. "How did you do that!?"
Sailor Jupiter shrugged and said, "I dunno it was odd, I felt the
power of Earth and Jupiter flowing into me. I said the first words that
came to mind and it was 'Lightning Rod'"
"Hey Mercury, it's your turn!" Sailor Earth called, she ran over to
Mercury who blinked in confusion.
"Just concentrate, like I said before," Sailor Earth said as she
closed her eyes, focusing her power.
Sailor Mercury closed her eyes, oddly she had a picture of people
dancing, under water, forming in her mind. Two words struggled to emerge
from her mouth.
Sailor Earth grinned, "Just say it.."
Together, standing side by side, Earth and Mercury screamed out,
"Aqua Boogie!" A swirl of water and electricity flowed from the ground,
surrounding them both. They both looked as if they stopped to do the
hustle!
"What the hell?!" Jupiter asked, looking at the two dancing.
Sailor Moon groaned, "Please tell me they're not doing the
hustle!"
Neither answered, sending the shiruken of water and electricity to
Maeve. The water douced her as the electricity shocked her, knocking her
on her butt.
"Me next!" Mars said as she spotted Maeve struggling to stand up.
"How does that go?"
"Close your eyes and concentrate, say the first words that comes to
mind!" Sailor Earth said as she started to concentrate.
Sailor Mars closed her eyes and concentrated, no words formed,
nothing. Until a certain phrase stood out bold as neon, begging to be
said. Sailor Earth stood next to her, with the phrase on her lips.
Sailor Mars nodded at her as they both called out. "Blaze Lightning!!" A
large fire bolt appeared and zigzagged towards Maeve who screamed as it
lit a path for her. The explosion was red orange and loud, it sent the
Senshi sprawling
Her golden necklace glittered in the afternoon sunlight as she
appeared from the explosion, minus a few pieces of her armor she continued
to fight. Maeve had the attack power of a rottweiler, she refused to give
up no matter how the senshi slammed their attacks into her. It was like
nothing was working. She had knocked out Sailor Mercury and Jupiter and
was closing in on Sailor Moon, Sailor Mars grabbed Moon and threw her to
the side as she took the brunt of the attack. The only senshi now
standing was Earth, Venus, Moon and Paradise. Sailor Paradise hit Maeve
with her Misery attack.
Maeve snorted as she shot a golden bolt at Paradise. Now there were
three, Sailor Venus nodded to Sailor Earth, hinting she wanted to combine
their powers to knock her senseless. She closed her eyes, focusing on the
power of Venus, she suddenly felt the power of Earth as they stood
together. "Tumbling Heart Pulsation!" They created a large heart and
rolled it at Maeve, the large heart slammed into her shocking her.
In a sudden move she hit Venus with a Golden spike, now there were
two. Sailor Moon tried her spiral heart attack, but to no avail. Maeve
grabbed her and flung her against the building. now there was one.
Maeve backed Sailor Earth into a corner, striking at her legs and
feet with her staff. Before Sailor Earth knew it, Maeve had backed her
into a corner of a building. If she didn't become Cyber Earth now, this
was it. ' Where is the outer senshi, maybe they're not senshi yet!'
She thought as her eyes went to her bracelet on her arm. She raised her
arm out to the side of her and began to yell, "Cyber Ear.." She couldn't
finish, for Maeve grabbed her wrist and started to pull her up. Her feet
dangled above the ground as she thrashed around in Maeve's grip.
"Let me go!" Earth yelled as she tried to pry her wrist from her
hand.
Rage filled Maeve's eyes. "And miss this chance to ice you, no way
toots." She wrapped a hand around Sailor Earth's throat and pressed her
against the building. The breath whooshed out her body as she fought to
breathe, she continued to squirm and thrash. She kicked at Maeve's knees,
but to no avail, the grip was becoming tighter and tighter.
"World...shaking!" A large yellow ball of energy crashed into Maeve's
side. With a scream she released the semi-conscious Earth.
"Dare?!" she yelled, looking for who threw that energy.
Three figures appeared from over the building, three women dressed as
Sailor Senshi. "When ever there is trouble, I am here to clean up the
mess. I am Sailor Uranus!"
"I am here to deliver victory to the people for I am Sailor
Neptune!"
"Preserving peace and tranquility for all time, I am Sailor
Pluto."
As they all stood together, the sun shining from their backs. They
said together, "We three outer senshi are brought here by a new
crisis!"
While Maeve gawked at the new senshi in disbelief, Sailor Earth
quietly scampered away from the building heading for the new Senshi.
Sailor Neptune helped Earth stand to her feet. "Daijoubu?" she asked, her
sea green eyebrows crinkling in worry."
"Daijoubu!" Sailor Earth answered as she brushed the dirt from her
skirt. She held her arm out the side as she called. "Cyber Earth Make
up!" Purple energy appeared and surrounded her, bit by bit her fuku turned
into metal. The only feature noticeable were her eyes that peered from
behind the lenses of her mask.
Maeve stood up, using her staff as leverage. "So you squirt, this is
how you defeated Shizar? Using some kind of costume made of metal!?" She
released another attack, not before Sailor Pluto shot her with her dead
scream attack.
While the outers battled with Maeve, the rest of the Senshi were
slowly coming to. Sailor Moon was the first, she saw that Earth had
already went cyber, to help make the battle more fair she pulled the Holy
Grail out of her Senshi subspace pocket. "Crisis....Make up!" Before
everyone stood SuperSailor Moon. SailorCyber Earth walked over
gasping.
"SuperSailor Moon?! When...nani..doko...?!?!" she babbled, staring at
Sailor Moon in confusion.
SuperSailor Moon smiled at SailorCyber Earth. "I've always been able
to become Super, in fact I was super before you joined us."
Sailor Mars nodded. "I see you finally met the outer Senshi." Slowly
but surely all the Senshi finally regained consciousness. It was a good
thing too, for the outers were starting to get tired. SailorCyber Earth
rushed over into the fray.
"Cyber Laser Blast!" A beam of purple energy slammed into Maeve's
legs, knocking her to her knees.
"Does she ever get hurt!" Sailor Uranus cried as she charged her with
her Space Sword.
Sailor Neptune smiled, pulling her deep aqua mirror out. "Maybe this
is what we need! Submarine...Reflection!!!"
Dust blew over Maeve as her necklace brightned in it's wake. Neptune
nodded to Uranus who nodded in return. Sailor Pluto walked up to the
pair. "Do you think we can even get close enough to get the necklace?" Her
green eyebrows knotted in thought.
"All I can say is we have to do our best!" Sailor Uranus said.
"Minna, I know what we can do!" Sailor Venus said, drawing everyone's
attention. "We can try Silver Crystal Power!"
SuperSailor Moon shook her head. "There's no way, we need everyone
here to perform it, or it will kill me." Gripping her Spiral Heart Moon
Rod she stepped to the front of the pack. Twirling it around herself she
powered up for her attack. "Rainbow....Moon....Heart....ACHE!" Spirals of
hearts emerged from the top of the rod as they sped towards their intended
target. The spirals wrapped themselves around Maeve, binding her tightly,
she stuggled and screamed as the shock coursed through her. Grunting she
used every ounce of her power to deflect the spirals. In a shower of
broken spirals, SuperSailor Moon was thrown off her feet where she landed
near the feet of the stunned senshi.
"Princess!" Sailor Pluto said as she rushed to help her up.
"That's it, Minna attack at ONCE!" Sailor Venus yelled. Each senshi
prepared to do their own attack. "SuperSailor Moon, use your tiara, Minna
surround the tiara with your attacks!"
"Moon Tiara Action!" SuperSailor Moon yelled as she heaved her tiara
to Maeve, the calls of various attacks filled the air as each Senshi
surrounded the tiara with their power. The tiara took the shape of a
large ball as it came in contact with Maeve's stomach. The blast was so
great it sent everyone flying. One would have believed this attack would
have been the end of Maeve, it only enraged her adding fuel to her
wildfire.
"Is that the best you can do?!" she roared as she slammed her staff
into the ground. "Golden Shock Wave!!!!" The ripples jarred them off their
feet again, as she released attack on top of attack on the Senshi.
SailorCyber Earth stood shakily. "I will destroy you before I let you
destroy me!" She cried. "Cyber Laser Destroy!!!!!" She pointed her finger
at Maeve and not one but three pinpoints of light emerged from her finger
and struck Maeve in the chest. At that same time Maeve released an attack
at SailorCyber Earth.
Suddenly a loud thundering fell on their ears. A large tunnel
appeared and a dark figure emerged. When the tunnel vanished they got a
chance to see who the person was. The woman was tall with long black hair
and dressed in the armor of a knight. On her side was a long gleaming
sword, on her wrists were bracers that glowed also. Her violet eyes
surveyed the area. They glittered fiercly, her long ponytail fluttered in
the breeze as she walked towards SailorCyber Earth. She kneeled down,
picking Earth up gently. SailorCyber Earth opened her eyes slowly.
"Dare?" she asked, focusing on the woman's face. She shook her head
to clear the cobwebs.
A smile crossed her serene face. "Anata wa," she answered.
Her eyes widened. "ME? Nani Kore!?" she yelled, removing herself from
the woman's arms.
Sailor Paradise recognized the woman immediately. "MAMA!!!" She
yelled throwing herself into the woman's arms.
The woman's eyes filled with tears as she said her daughter's name.
"Chibimo, oh I've missed you!"
Sailor Mars gawked. "That's Moshi in the future!?"
Sailor Mercury nodded. "I guess so, I mean she looks like her, but
she's so tall!"
Sailor Jupiter added, "Well Mamoru-san is tall, so I guess she's
taking after her brother."
"Yeah, but that looks freaky, I mean look how little she is now, and
then look at her future self. She's going to have one heck of a growth
spurt!" Sailor Venus stated, looking at Present-Moshi and Future-Moshi.
"Utopian Knight," SailorCyber Earth whispered, looking at the woman
hugging Shi. The woman looked up and nodded.
"Hai, Atashi wa Utopian Knight," she answered.
Maeve struggled to her feet. "I don't care..you have to die! It's
your fault he's dead!!!"
SailorCyber Earth cried, "It's not my fault! I didn't kill Shizar!"
A male voice reached Maeve's ears. "Maeve, she's right."
Her throat knotted up as she turned to find the face that belonged
that that voice. It couldn't be, Shizar was dead but there he was, in
plain human clothes with a small smile on his face.
"Maeve," he said, holding his arms out. With tears streaming down
her face she ran into his arms, holding as if she would never let go.
"How did you survive?!" she asked, looking up into his face.
"Imitar only took my powers, I thought I was dying until I woke up
back in his chambers. Please Maeve, give this up. Come be with me
forever," he pleaded, his golden eyes begging.
She sighed. "How can I? Imitar will find me."
"Ask for her help." He pointed to Sailor Utopia, who nodded
slightly.
Maeve turned to Sailor Utopia. "Utopian Knight, I ask of you. Please
rid me of these evil powers."
"Kneel, and I shall do what I can," the Knight responded, removing
her sword from it's scabbard. The steel of the sword glowed with a light
of it's own. "With this mighty blade built of life. The lightblade,
Dawnbringer. I ask of it remove the evil in this woman's heart, so she can
be free!" She held the glowing blade into the air and then pointed it at
Maeve. The light surrounded Maeve, lifting her off her knees.
"The light!" she said as her armor fell to the ground in a heap. She
could feel her powers drain as her necklace released itself and fell to
the ground. Once the light cleared, Maeve stood before them all, dressed
in a gold blouse and slacks. She opened her eyes for the first time as a
human.
Shizar smiled. "Maeve, my love. Come to me."
"Shizar!" she cried and ran into his arms. They both turned to
Sailor Utopia.
"Domo Arigato, Utopian knight, Arigato," they both said and turned,
leaving their past lives at Knights behind them and going on to begin
their new human lives together.
"Isn't love grand!" Sailor Earth said, she detransformed back to
Sailor Earth after Maeve asked to be healed.
Sailor Venus nodded, her eyes turning into hearts. "I cannot wait
until I fall in love!"
They both sighed loudly, clasping their hands to their chests. A
commotion from the side brought their attention back to Sailor Utopia.
Sailor Chibi Earth rushed over.
"Mama! MAMA MAMA MAMA!" She screamed over and over, tears welled in
her green eyes as she attached herself to Utopia.
"Miko!" Utopia sniffed as she kneelt to hug her daughter.
"We did good didn't we!" Chibi Earth said. "You're alive again!"
She merely nodded, lifting Chibi Earth in her arms, she put a arm
around Paradise shoulders and for once the senshi got a chance to see the
family all together again. Sailor Earth knew, this time Miko and Shi
were leaving her for good, that is until she's older.
"Shi, Miko," she said, her violet eyes brimming with tears now.
"Okaa-san," Paradise said as she embraced Sailor Earth, Chibi Earth
pushed her way between the two, creating a group hug.
"I'll miss you both!" Earth said as the tears began to stream down
her cheeks.
"It was nice to meet you at this age, now I know how my mom was at my
age!" Paradise said, her violet eyes twinkling.
"I want to stay, but I want to go!" Chibi Earth whined, gripping
Earth's hand.
Sailor Earth looked into Chibi Earth's green eyes. "Iie, go home to
your right time, back to your life." Sailor Paradise and Chibi Earth
detransformed back to their school fukus.
Shi walked over to Sailor Mars and hugged her. "Ja ne, Rei-san. I
shall miss you."
Sailor Mars blushed, a rare one if ever seen. "Ja ne Shi-chan.
Miko walked over to Sailor Venus and clasped her waist. "Ja ne
Minako-san, I'll miss you too!"
Venus's eyes shimmered as she whispered. "Ja ne Miko-chan, here." She
removed her red bow and her blond hair fell around her shoulders. She gave
the bow to a smiling Miko. Who took the bow and quickly tied it around one
odango.
"Arigato Minako-san!" Miko said as she ran back to her mother. Together
they opened the portal back to Crystal Tokyo and stepped in. On the other
side, Pluto, Neptune and Uranus were waiting for them to step through.
They turned and wave as the portal slowly closed.
"Ja ne Shi, Miko!" Sailor Earth said as she waved to the group. As
they all waved, the portal closed and vanished.
"Daijoubu?" SuperSailor Moon asked as she put a hand on Sailor
Earth's shoulder."
"Daijoubu," she answered and turned to face the senshi, a knowing
smile slid across her face as she spoke. "You know, after some deep
thinking on my part, I realize that if it wasn't for Sailor Pluto in the
future, I would never had a chance to meet my children, or live to see the
future for that matter." She looked back to where the portal vanished. "I
swear now. If she's ever alone in the future, I will be there for her.
No one deserves to be alone. That I promise."

SailorStar Pluto sat down with a sigh, another day of guarding the
time portal. It was so desolate way out here, the only person that
visited her was Small Lady and that was once a week. A soft rap at the
door diverted her attention from her thoughts. "Dare?!" she called
out.
"Moshi, ChibiMo and Miko!" a voice came through the door. She walked
over and opened the door and there with smiles on their faces was Moshi,
ChibiMo and Miko.
"What brings you here?" she asked in disbelief none of the other
senshi ever visited her.
"I came to visit, the girls wanted to visit you also." In her hands
she held a thermos. "I brought green tea and cups. I know how you like
green tea." She smiled as she entered the room with Chibimo and Miko in
tow
SailorStar Pluto's eyes filled with tears. "Arigato, Moshi, Arigato."
