Chapter 15: Love?!

Legal mumbo jumbo: All Sailor Moon type characters (minus
Sailor Earth) is based on the series Sailor Moon, Copyright by Takeuchi
Naoko (Did I mention she rocks?).  This chapter, Moshi finds love but I'm
not much a stickler for happy endings.  If they do happen it's at a
price.  We also get to find out how good a knight Valtork makes. Please

     Like a tiger in the bushes, he waited in the bookcase.  His legs
tensing from the long period of standing up. Soon his target would be here
ready for him to pounce.  For twenty minutes Mamoru stood in the bookcase
dressed in all black as a stereotypical ninja.  Why? He was waiting to
pull off the best scare ever, the usual older brother taunts little sister
routine.  He cackled gleefully as he positioned himself to see the door
better.  She'll never be expecting this, all the times she scared the hell
out of him.  Checking his watch he noticed that she should be home in four
minutes.  He laughed out loud ,throwing his head back there was only
four minutes till the midget drops dead of fright.  He couldn't wait
to see her violet eyes turn into round saucers as she fainted dead
away.  This picture made him chuckle even more as he hunkered down and 
prepared for the ultimate showdown.

     Three minutes till show down.... 

     He started to sweat a bit, he couldn't back out now.  Not after
twenty minutes of leg cramps and sweaty arm pits.

     Two minutes till show down.... 

     He pulled the hood of his ninja suit over his face so she couldn't
see him good.

     One minute till show down.... 

     He reached over and flicked the light switch, putting the room in
shadows.

     Showdown....

     Moshi ran up the steps of the apartment, her blue skirt swishing
around her legs.  Pausing at the mail box, she checked for Mamoru's mail,
oddly there wasn't any. 'He can't be home,'  she wondered as she
continued up the stairs to his apartment.  'My temporary home,'
she thought to herself as she put the key in the lock.  She opened the
door and the shadows suprised her.  Mamoru usually left the front lamps on
for Moshi when she came home.  She put her bookbag down by the door and
kicked her school shoes off.

     "Ru-chan...Tadaima!," she called as she slipped on her purple
slippers.  Walking towards the window, she continued to call for Mamoru.
The dark shadow in the bookcase edged closer, to get better leverage.  She
passed the bookcase calling his name when she was pounced.

     "ooof!" she yelled as a body made of pure muscle connected with her
back. In an istant her elbows plowed into the stomach of her assilant in a
reflex motion.  Her head spun in circles as a hand grabbed her ponytail
and tugged almost playful like, on the floor kicking and screaming she
scooted away, taking her ponytail with her.   Her skirt bellowed out about
her like a blue cloud as she continued to kick out in fright.  She
suddenly gripped her henshin star and held it into the air ready to call
forth her powers of Life.

     "Earth Star Pow--" she started to call when suddenly  a hand
grasped her wrist and the lights flicked on.  Looking up to see who was
attacking her she mentally gasped, standing over her was a ninja! The
ninja reached up and slowly removed his mask, she gritted her teeth, ready
to fight. It was Mamoru!
 
     Moshi's face turned red in anger as she leaped up to stand before
him. Her ponytail nearly wacked him in the face, her eyes flashed. "How
dare you scare me like that!" The words after that were too colorful for
Mamoru, he started to blush himself.  Strings of obsenities filled the
air, some made up and some tried and true, he swallowed noisly and stared
at his sister. Did she ever have a potty mouth!

     "Midget, anyone tell you that you have a potty mouth?" he asked,
raising one dark eyebrow.

     Stopping mid curse, she said, "Potty Mouth? I think this should be
excused, seeing you just aged me 20 years!" Before she could continue to
release another colorful phrase, Mamoru clamped his hand over her
mouth.

     Now finally calmed down after her cursing outburst, she started to
blush. The red color stained her entire face and neck.  She twisted her
bow in her hands as she sheepishly said "I guess, it's something held
over from Mosite." She started flashing her dimples.  A gesture she
usually did when in trouble.

     "Don't try the dimple trick on me!" he said. "You really need to curb
that language. Makoto's mouth isn't that dirty!" Moshi jumped again, ready
to assault him with a few inventive insults of her own when a knocking at
the door interupted their bickering.

     "Hai!?" Mamoru called, going to the door.

     A muffled male voice replied. "Tenchino Hoshi!, you said you wanted
to study ne?"  Mamoru looked down at his attire and grinned.

     "Say Midget, let him in while I change ne?"

     She looked up from the couch, flipping her ponytaill over her
shoulder. "Hmm ok, git!" she shooed, leaping from her sitting postion.
She bounded over to the door as Mamoru went into his bedroom.

     Her mood quickly changed the moment she opened the door, outside in
the hallway was standing the most adorable man she ever seen.  He was
about Mamoru's height, if not taller.  His sandy brown hair fell
carelessly over his shoulder in a loosely kept ponytail, what really
grabbed her was those intense, brilliant green eyes.  Eyes that looked cut
from the rarest emeralds, funny she seen those exact same green eyes
before.  She wondered where...

     Hoshi looked down at the small person who opened the door, her violet
eyes shimmered as she stared up at him.  Somehow this tugged at his heart,
he wondered why she was just someone's kid sister.   She rubbed at her
face trying to hide the blush.

     "Konnichi wa!" she called out hoping the blush wasn't too bad.

     "Konnichi wa! genki desu ka?" he asked, his long eyelashes sweeping
his cheeks as he blinked.

     Her heart stopped, struggling to answer she croaked. "genki desu.
onegai come in don't stand there!" She moved out the way to let him in.
She led him over to the couch after tripping over her shoes, feet and
bookbag. 'Oh Kami-sama, I'm as clumsy as Usagi-chan!' she thought.

     'A clumsly kid sister at that,' he thought as he smiled at
the small girl.  "So small one, what's your name?" he asked, hoping to
divert her attention from staring at him.

     She slightly bowed. "Watashi no namae wa Tak..ano Chiba Moshi."

     "ah hmm let me see..Hello World. Nice name, cute, I like that," he
replied. "Tenchino Hoshi, dozo yorishiku."

     Her eyes brightned a bit. "Star of heaven and earth! That's a kawaii
name!" she said.

     He laughed, his tenor voice sending shivers down her spine. "Wow, I
see you're into name translations as well."

     She nodded. "Hai, my brother is Earth protector."  The two chatted on
about school, likes and dislikes.  Oddly they had a lot in common, They
both had the name -oshi, liked food, translating names and other quirky
things.  All was fine until a thought struck her like a lightning bolt,
she sat ramrod straight as her eyes glazed over.

     'Those eyes, I know those eyes! They're Miko's eyes!!'  She
was starting to see many similarties between Hoshi and Shi and Miko.  When 
he laughed a dimple appeared in his right cheek, just like Shi and his 
eyes glittered the exact same way Miko's did when she giggled.  His hands,
oh Kami-sama, those were Shi's hands! And his lips, those where Miko's
lips! He might be her future husband! 

     He notice her sudden hesitation. "Did I say something wrong?" he
asked, his green eyes focusing in on her face.

     She cleared her throat. "Iie, I've been feeling...um a bit under the
weather."

     "There is a cold going around--" he started, trailing off.  He
couldn't help but to stare at her, something in her violet eyes kept
calling him.  He suddenly felt the need to put his fingers in her dark
hair, he wondered what it would look like all down.  He shook his head,
such thoughts are outlandish, this was his friend's sister.  Mamoru would
kill him!

     "So, how long have you known Ru-chan?" she asked, trying to change
subjects.

     He hummed under his breath, as if mentally counting. "I met him last
year, we had the same Calculus class together.  This year we have physics
together."

     She stuck out her tongue and made a face. "bleh, Physics sucks."

     One red eyebrow raised. "I suppose what you do is better."

     She nodded, her ponytail bouncing. "Hai, I'm into Biology and
Gardening." She stood up and went over to the window, where a potted rose
stood on the window sill.  "I grew this myself for Ru-chan, you normally
can't grow these kind of Roses in the house, but I did."

     "How did you get it to grow in here?" he asked, truely interested.

     She looked back at him, her eyes glittering. "Love, I give all my
plants love." She turned back to the rose, touching it's velvet soft
petals.

     He smiled, he could easily like this girl.  There was something
different about her.  Unlike all the other girls he known, this girl had a
future.  The rest usually wanted to just become housewives.  He didn't
want that, he wanted someone to be equal with him, she could be it.

     Mamoru entered the room armed with his books. "You two didn't kill
each other did you?"

     Moshi laughed. "No, we didn't!" She walked back over to the door and
collected her shoes and bookbag. "If you excuse me, I have biology to do
and I have to go see my friends."

     Hoshi stood up. "It was nice meeting you Moshi-chan." He smiled, his
white teeth flashing in the light.

     She turned back around. "Hai, same for me Hoshi-kun." She walked down
the hallway to her room, closing her door behind her.

     Back in the living room, Mamoru didn't like the look on Hoshi's face.
"Oh no..not my sister, she is too young for you!!" he whispered harshly.

     Hoshi snapped out his daze. "Huh, calm down man!"

     Mamoru replied, "You say that now, but I saw the way you were looking
at her!"

     A knock at the door diverted their attention. "Hai!?" Mamoru called
going to the door.

     The voice he heard wouldn't help this situation. "It's me, Usagi! and
ChibiUsa!"

     Hoshi smirked. "Ah is that the young girlfriend of yours." 

     Mamoru sighed and opened the door, two figures, one blond and one
pink haired rushed in attaching themselves to him. "Mamo-chan!" they both
said as they sighed in relief. 

     Hoshi walked over and nudged Mamoru with his elbow. "Way to go
Mamoru-kun, you got not one but two!"

     "Two what?" Usagi asked as she unattached herself from Mamoru.

     Mamoru blushed. "Nothing, nothing! Ignore him, he's silly."

     Hoshi bowed before Usagi and ChibiUsa. "Tenchino Hoshi at your
service!"

     Usagi's blue eyes lit up. "Hey your name is just like Mo-chan!"

     ChibiUsa suddenly was quiet, she knew who he was.  His green eyes
said it all, Shi and Miko's dad! "Hello, Hoshi-san," she said, biting her
bottom lip.

     Usagi kicked off her shoes and walked into the room. "Is Mo-chan
still here?" She pulled her book bag from behind her back, she was here to
get help on biology.

     Mamoru nodded to Usagi. "Hai, she's in her room." Chibiusa and Usagi
waved and trotted down the hall to Moshi's room.  Usagi rapped on the door
and went in.  Moshi was sitting at her desk scribbling on her paper.

     She looked up. "Oh, Usagi-chan, I forgot you were coming here!" Moshi
said as she jumped up, clearing a spot for Usagi at her desk.  Chibiusa
looked around the room in boredom, here she was stuck here while they
studied.  "Hmm something for you to do," Moshi said as she looked around.
She plucked something off the dresser and handed it to Chibiusa. "Here ya
go kid, a gameboy.  Knock yourself out!"

     Chibiusa's red eyes lit up. "Do you have any more games?!"  To answer
her question a large duffel bag hit her in the leg.  She opened it and
inside was a lot of games!

     "Usagi you get started, I'll go get us some snacks." Moshi slipped
her feet in her slippers and walked out in search of the kitchen.  Two
male voices reached her ears, ohno Hoshi and Ru-chan were in the kitchen
as well.  She couldn't take those green eyes any longer, sighing and
holding her head up she marched into the kitchen.

     Hoshi and Mamoru were preparing some sandwiches to aid in their
studying.  "Is this a private thing, or can I have some too?" She asked
Mamoru as she went to the fridge.

     Mamoru chuckled and passed her the bread.  Moshi hurriedly whipped
together a few sandwiches. a few for herself and two for Usagi and one
for Chibiusa.  She went to get a few juices when she caught a pair of eyes
on her, a pair of green eyes.  Hoshi stood by the sink, he couldn't help
but to stare at her.  'By Kami-sama, she's too cute,' he thought
as he cleared his throat and turned around from her glare.

     'This is starting to get annoying!' Moshi thought as she
walked out the kitchen.

     The moment she entered the room she was attacked by a blond
hurricane. It sucked up two sandwiches and a juice and left.  The
aftermath of what remained was a mess.  There was unsurmountable damage
done to the tray and it's contents. "Dangit Usagi!" Moshi said as she gave
Chibiusa her sandwich and juice. She frowned as she pulled a bit of bread
out her hair.

     "Enough about me." Usagi said, wiping a goop of mayo off the corner
of her mouth. "Whois that cute guy Mamo-chan's studying with?"

     Moshi blushed, she grabbed a pair of headphones off her night stand
and plugged them into the Gameboy and placed them on Chibiusa's ears.
"Tenchino Hoshi....isn't that a beautiful name!" she cooed.

     Usagi blinked. "Oh boy you got it bad."

     She continued. "He's just, oh my...I can't help but to see those
green eyes.  This could be the one!" she squealed.

     Usagi grinned. "Hey his name isn't any different! Hoshi, Moshi..you
two were made for each other!"

     What was said next stopped Moshi's blood cold. "You were, in fact
that's Mi-chan's dad..."  Two pairs of eyes, violet and blue bulged and
stared at the pink haired girl playing the gameboy.

     "Oops maybe I wasn't suppose to say that!" Chibiusa said, returning
to her game after seeing the stares she got.  Moshi leaped from her chair
and grabbed her by her shoulders.

     "NANI! Hoshi is their otoo-san!?!?!?!" Moshi yelled as she shook
Chibiusa like a madwoman. Her pink hair whipped about her head, striking
Moshi in the face.

     Chibiusa started to whined. "Hai, let me go it HURTS!" She wailed.  A
knock on the door stopped Moshi.

     Mamoru walked in. "What in the name of Kami-sama is going on in
here!"

     Chibiusa sniffed, "I only said that Hoshi was Shi-san and Mi-chan's
otoo-san.."

     Mamoru gagged audibly. "Nani!" His face paled considerably as he
looked for a place to sit.

     "Mamo-chan!" Usagi said as she rushed to his side. "Daijoubu!?"

     Over on the floor Moshi sat wringing her ponytail in her hands.  She
gawked when Hoshi stepped into the room. "Moshi-chan, you didn't kill the
pink kid did you?!"

     "Um..well..that is...er...eep," Moshi mumbled, twiting her ponytail
up.

     Hoshi raised his eyebrows. "What did you do to her?" He looked to
Usagi for an answer who only shrugged, all the time trying to keep from
smirking. "I'll tell you one thing, you Tsukinos and Chibas are sugoi..I
think I'll go home," he said as he slowly backed out the doorway.

     Moshi's eyes grew big, he was getting away! "Hoshi-kun wait!" She ran
after him to the door.  He was putting on his shoes when he noticed her
standing there.

     She twisted her ponytail some more before he took it out her hands.
"You're going to be bald before you're twenty you keep doing that."

     She laughed a bit. "I was wondering, would you like to..um ....." she
trailed off, the blush staining her face like a paint splash.

     "Oh my, are you asking me on a date?" he joked, his green eyes
sparkling as he looked down at her. 

     Moshi's throat tightened up, she never had this much trouble asking a
guy out before. "Yes, what we'll do I don't know."

     "Oh I can think of something," he said and he nudged her in the side.
Her mouth dropped open.  "No I don't mean that Mamoru will kill me!" he
recountered after noticing her expression.

     Moshi snapped her fingers. "How about we go to the Celestria
Gardens!" The gardens where her favorite place to go, she loved walking
around smelling the various flowers.

     "We'll have a picnic, I'll throw something together," he answered.
"I'll see you tomorrow at 4, I'll come by here and get you ne?"

     "Hai, it's set." Moshi waved, nearly slapping herself. "Ja ne,
Hoshi-chan," she whispered as she walked back to her room.

     He was glad she didn't see him blushing. "Ja ne, Mo-chan," he
whispered as he closed the door behind himself.

     Usagi was waiting at the door with baited breath. "Well!?" she nearly
screamed when Moshi entered the room.

     "We have a date tomorrow!" Moshi said, she nearly floated away.  Her
eyes glazed over as she sighed loudly.

     Mamoru paled even more. "A what?!" He smacked himself in the
forehead, of all the guys it had to be Hoshi.  Hoshi who bragged about how
many girls he slept with.

     "It's ok Ru-chan, I'll be fine.  We're going to a public place, the
gardens...my favorite place," she answered, sitting back at her desk to 
finish her homework.

     "Konnichiwa, Hoshi-chan!" Moshi yelled as she waved from the terrace.
She ran down the stairs, nearly falling on her face.  Her blue skirt flew
about her legs as she rushed outside to Hoshi's car.  Once she emerged
outside she stopped in her tracks. "Whoa nice car!"

     His car was a 1996 Corvette and it was a deep hunter green, the same
as his eyes. "Thanks, I just got it, Hop in!"

     The two was silent on the way to the gardens, Moshi looked over at
him while he was driving, his eyes squinted as he focused on the road
ahead. He kept one hand on the stick, she looked at that hand and fell in
love with it. 'Those are Shi's hands!' she thought.

     "Here we are the Gardens." he announced as he pulled in.  They both
hopped out and entered.  Once inside Moshi lost all thought.  The worlds
most beautiful flowers were grown here.  Every chance she got, she visited
the gardens, sometimes healing the sick flowers that wilted.

     Hoshi spread out a blanket on a hill and the two sat down and began
to eat.  Moshi tried her best not to dog her food like she usually do, she
took small bites even though her stomach protested loudly. After the lunch
they wandered the gardens, Moshi described each flower to Hoshi, who
nodded and smiled in return.  Her heart stopped when they reached a new
display, roses of various colors.

     She bent over the purple roses and breathed deeply.  'Ru-chan
would love this!' she thought as she saw Hoshi sniff at a green rose.
She noticed a yellow rose wilted over.  Sighing she touched the rose, her
finger glowed yellow as life force flowed from her into the flower, giving
it a second life.

      Hoshi jumped back. "How did you do that?!"

      Mentally she gasped, she used her powers without even noticing it!
"Do what?" she asked, trying to play cool.

     Hoshi shook his head. "Nothing, I thought you did something to it.
Man what did I put in that sandwich!?"

     She sighed in relief. They sat on the grass holding hands watching
some ducks romp in the pond.  She looked at her reflection in the pond, it
seemed so right.  Her star twinkled in the pond as she smiled. 

     "Penny for your thoughts?" he asked as he looked over at her, her
cheeks slightly flushed from the heat of the greenhouse.

      She cleared her throat, 'Here's nothing!' she thought. She
opened her mouth. "I was wondering what it would be like to kiss you."

     Hoshi smiled. "Well let's find out ne?" He gathered her small frame
in his arms, she slipped her arms around his neck.  Closing his eyes
slightly he planted his lips on her small mouth.

     Fireworks went off in both of their heads.  Moshi moaned slightly and
pulled herself closer. 'I wonder is it like this for Usagi-chan?'
They sat on the bank locked in a kiss when a loud rumble interuppted
them. 

     "What the hell?!" Hoshi said as he jumped up, putting Moshi behind
him.

     A figure dressed in silver armor stood before them. It was Valtork,
in his hands he held a large sliver double edged sword.

     'Shimatta! I can't turn into Sailor Earth!' she thought as she
placed her hands on Hoshi's waist.

     Hoshi's green eyes narrowed. "Dare?" He balled his fists up and took
a defiant stance.

     Valtork raised a silver eyebrow. "Does it matter to you puny mortal?
All I want is the little person behind you." He walked closer with his
silver cape swirling about his ankles.

     A deep growl emitted from Hoshi. "I don't think so bud." He pushed
Moshi upwards on the hill as they both walked backwards.

     Feigning a sigh Valtork said, "I suppose I have to get rid of you
first ne? so be it! Silver Primus!" Ether of pure silver emerged from his
finger tip and slammed into Hoshi.  The acetum of the ether froze him on
the spot solid.

     "HOSHI!" Moshi yelled as her violet eyes flashed in anger. She
removed her henshin star and held it to the sky. "Earth Star Power...MAKE
UP!" The powers of the earth infused with Moshi turning her into Sailor
Earth.  The purple stone in her tiara winked in the green house's lights
as did her henshin star. "Jinsei to enaajii no seera fuku, bishoujo
senshi, Seera Aasu! Mugendaini kawatte oshioki-yo!" She created an
infinity symbol with her hands as she stood before Hoshi's frozen
body.

     "Oh Kami-sama, I'm scared..boohoo. You know why I'm here, lets get it
over with Sailor Twerp," Valtork said as he removed his cape and laid it
on the grass. He looked at his sword and then Sailor Earth, in an
exaggerated gesture he flung his sword to the side as if to say he
would kill her with his bare hands.

     'I can't let him destroy Hoshi or the flowers!' Sailor Earth
thought as she looked for a means of an exit. There wasn't one available,
so she had to create one.  Using her senshi powers of leaping, she jumped
into the air.  Sailor Earth then folded her arms over her head to protect
herself from the glass as she  crashed into the green house's window. She
contorted and twisted her body forcing it to propel her so that she could
flip and land near the fountain. A second later Valtork appeared through
the broken window.  His silver eyes were a telltale sign of his serious
mental dysfunction.

     "You're only gonna make this harder, just let me kill you so we both
can spare ourselves some stress ne?" Valtork said, saliva oozed out the
corner of his mouth and splattered on his breastplate. 

     Sailor Earth turned up her nose at the disgusting display. "Bite me.
Life Force!!!" She created a ball of energy in her hand, twirling around
she hurled it as fast as she could to Valtork's smirking face.  Caught off
guard the energy smacked him in the face, knocking him on his butt.

     Valtork sneered at her from where he was sitting, his silver armor
winked in the afternoon sun.  He wiped his mouth where a thin trickle of
blood was starting to slide down the side of his mouth.  He looked at his
gauntlet and growled. "You little pissant, hitting me first ne?"

     Sailor Earth folded her arms and frowned at Valtork. "That's not all
I can do! Cosmic..." A dark cloud appeared over her as her eyes closed
into violet slits. She raised one finger above her head as the lightning
connected to her finger.  In both hands she created a bolt and she turned
it over like a hot potato. "Lightning!!!!" She heaved the bolt with all
her strength towards the sitting Valtork, who only opened his mouth in a
scream as the bolt slammed into his face, rocking him backwards.

     He struggled to stand up when a disc of thunder connected with his
side, knocking him back on his knees.  More blood flowed out of his mouth
as he turned to see who else attacked.

     Across the way from him six figures stood, dressed in Senshi outfits.
The leader, a blond with funny objects on her head, started to pose as if
preparing for some kind of speech. "Ai to seigi no..."

     Sailor Earth stopped Sailor Moon in the middle of her speech.
"Iie...no need to do all that, I've already said what needed to be said!"
Sailor Moon frowned and pouted, she loved doing her little speel.  Behind
her two of the senshi started to laugh.

     "I don't give a rat's ass who you all are.." he started as he stood
up again. "..I'm here to terminate the earth brat! Silver Flash!" Unable
to really see he pointed in her general direction.  Chibi Moon screamed as
the flash quickly sped towards her chest. Sailor Earth yelled and threw
her body in front of the small senshi, nearly taking the full force of the
attack.  A loud hissing sound could be heard, as if her fuku was
sizzling.

     "You dirty dog, you wrecked my fuku!" Earth said as she stood up. 
"You want to do the attack you did before ne?" she said to Chibi Moon, who
smiled and pulled out her Moon rod.  "Concentrate, and say the first thing
that comes to your mind." She kneeled next to Chibi Moon. The
others stood and watched as the two concentrated a second later both pairs
of eyes flew open. 

     She spun her small rod in her hand. "Moonlight...Sugar....Shock!!!"
Large pink hearts appeared from the rod and tumbled towards Valtork, who
again was knocked off his feet.

     He jumped up, this time enraged. "Ok, I'm tired of kissing ground,
it's time for some serious butt kicking!"

     Sailor Earth chuckled. "I challenge you Valtork, just to see how
good of a fighter you really are. No weapons, no spells.  Just hand to
hand, armor to armor. " She folded her arms and glared at him.

     Valtork was always a sucker for a challenge. His silver eyes lit up
in the thought of actually fightning now. "You're on Earth brat, you and
me. I swear if I see one fireball, or stupid heart chain or even a pink
heart. I'm going to fry you."

     She sneered back. "I swear also, if I see even a hint of a silver
attack, your butt is mine!"

     Sailor Moon rushed over. "Sailor Earth, don't! I don't trust
him!"

     She smiled at her friend. "This has to be done...at least trust
me." She patted Sailor Moon on her shoulder and walked towards Valtork.

     "Kick his butt!" Sailor Jupiter said behind Sailor Moon.  She gave
Sailor Earth the thumbs-up sign.

     She smirked at Jupiter as she threw her arm out to the side and
called out, "Cyber Earth Make up!" The powers of the Earth surrounded her
forming a metallic shell in the colors of her fuku.  Her ponytail hung
down her back like a dark spike as her hair turned into a dark helmet.
Violet eyes peered out from behind the mask as she took a fighter's
stance.

     Valtork jammed his silver helmet on his head.  Shedding a few heavy
pieces he also took a fighter's stance. "I'm ready."

     "Good, because I am too!" she said right before she rushed him,
slamming into his stomach, knocking him on his back.

     "You cheat!" he yelled, filling the air with loud curses. He jumped
back to his feet and circled around her, trying to throw her off guard.
Seeing his chance he leaped and hung on her back like a monkey wrapping
his knees on her hips. Cyber Earth cursed loudly as she tryed to buck him
off, seeing that he could be budged, she jumped into the air and flipped
over, smashing him into the ground.  Sailor Mars winced loudly. "Good
move!" she whispered to Sailor Jupiter who nodded in return.

     "Is this the best you can do!? Shizar was a better fighter!" she
taunted, making wagglin gestures with her hands.  She got the reaction she
was looking for. He moved from his spot and roared loudly. He tried again
to rush her, but was only tripped instead.

     Cyber Earth turned to attack but was punched directly in the face.
Her head snapped back violently and she could hear the bones in her neck
protest to the sudden movement.  She threw her head back in the other
direction, wincing at the loud creaking noise. Valtork pulled back, ready
to land another hit, when her fist shot out and connected with his
nose.

      Valtork screamed and danced the hurt dance.  He hopped from side to
side, screaming about his nose as the blood poured down the front of his
breast plate.  Unlike SailorCyber Earth, his helmet didn't have a mask to
guard his face from blows like hers.  Taking her chance she pounced like a
puma, punching him anywhere there was a spot of silver showing.  He
huddled in a heap flinching from every hit.  

     SailorCyber Earth backed away from the shivering mass.  She looked
down and noticed blood on the serrated edge of her skirt, panic rose in
her throat as she felt a bit of Mosite returning. She enjoyed putting the
hurt on him, it actually felt good. "Don't make me kill you Valtork," she
said, her voice squeaking slightly.

     She turned away, walking back to her friends, looking at their faces
she notice them change from looks of relief to looks of fear.  She turned
back around and saw Valtork standing up pointing at her.  A flash of
silver emerged from his finger and slammed into her chest.  She flew
backwards and crashed into the edge of the fountain.

     "Sailor Earth!" Sailor Jupiter cried as she rushed over to her
friend. She sat Earth up and gently tapped her face.  Looking down she saw
the burnt part of her armor.  Had she been just Sailor Earth, a direct
blast like that would have killed her.  Her armor saved her life.

     "Anyone get that truck number?" Earth moaned as she slowly woke up.
She looked down at her chest, seeing the burnt armor.  She leaped to her
feet, her violet eyes blazing.  "You stinking cheat. Your butt is mine!"
She balled her hands into fists and held them out on the sides.  The power
flowed through her as she charged up for her laser attack. Standing
straight she pointed her finger at Valtork. "CYBER LASER DESTROY!!!!!!"
Three purple points of light emerged from her finger and shot straight
into Valtork's head.

     His armor started to rattle loudly as his helmet buldged under the
pressure of the laser.  He choked loudly as he started to flicker from
sight until he was gone.  SailorCyber Earth don't know what happened, but
she knew she had defeated the last of the Metallic Knights.

     "Oh I forgot about Hoshi!" she said as she ran back into the gardens.
Near the duck pond where he was frozen, lay Hoshi's body.  Over him stood
Sailor Pluto, the senshi of time.

     "Sailor Pluto?" Sailor Moon asked, fearing the reason she might be
here.  Whenever Pluto showed up, you knew something heavy was about to go
down.

     "I finally found him," she started, looking at Sailor Earth. "I have
some rather, disturbing news.  It seems your boyfriend here is
displaced."

     When she said boyfriend, Sailor Earth started to blush. "Displaced,
is that something like he's not in the right time?" she asked.

     Sailor Pluto smiled and nodded. "Hai, he was somehow thrown back to
this time after the accident.  He and his family were returning from
dinner when their car was ran off the road.  He was thrown from the
wreckage and in this time he ended up.  It's a lot of complicated stuff I
don't have time to explain.  But I have to get him back to his time as
soon as possible."

     Sailor Earth nodded and transformed back to her school fuku. "I would
like to say bye at least." She could feel the large lump forming in her
throat.  She glanced down at his face. As if he knew he was being looked
at his eyelids started to flutter.

     His green eyes opened in a flash as he leaped up.  "Moshi! Watch
out!" He looked around franticly, seeing the senshi standing around
him.

     Moshi smiled and placed a hand on his shoulder. "It's ok, the Sailor
Senshi here saved us." She kissed him on the cheek. "That was very brave
of you.  Arigato."

     Hoshi's cheeks brightned in a blush.  Sailor Moon giggled and Sailor
Mars elbowed her in the side. Sailor Pluto cleared her throat loudly.

     "If you don't mind, I'd like to speak with Hoshi for a second or so,"
Sailor Pluto said, gently pulling Moshi to her feet. The senshi and Moshi
moved away and stood on a nearby hill.

      "It's too sad," Sailor Venus said as she shook her head.

     Sailor Jupiter nodded in agreement. "Hai. Love has bloomed and now
it's taken away."

     Moshi raised a dark eyebrow. "What the devil are you talking about?
I'll see him again, if not later maybe in the future." She beamed a
smile.

     "I wish I was as optimistic as you!" Sailor Mars said as she clapped
Moshi on the back. They noticed that they were finished talking and walked
back over to where Pluto and Hoshi stood.  Behind them Sailor Moon
whispered to Moshi.

      "Mo-chan, if it was meant to be.  You will be together.  Look at me
and Mamo-chan." She winked and joined the rest of the senshi.

     Sailor Pluto nudged Hoshi, who walked forward. "Gomen nasai, Moshi. I
have to go back to my time.  I'll miss you."

     Moshi inwardly groaned, here comes that lump again. "I'll miss you
too Hoshi." She grabbed his hands and stepped closer. "I..well that
is..um..."

     "Love you?" he finished, his blush blooming past his neck. He grabbed
her in a loving embrace. "I love you too Moshi."

      A sobbing sound could be heard as Sailor Moon started to cry. "I
love people in love!"

      Sailor Mars plugged her ears. "Well you sound like a Moose in
love!"

      "Will I see you again?" he asked, his green eyes welling up with
tears.

     Moshi nodded, her throat too swollen with tears to respond.  She
removed her daisy earrings and placed them in his hands.  She curved his
hands close and stepped back.  She nodded to Sailor Pluto.

     "Come Hoshi, we have to get you back," Pluto said as she led him into
the tunnel she created with her time key.

     "Ja ne Hoshi-chan, I love you." Moshi whispered under her breath as
they both vanished.

     Hoshi sipped at his shake, another boring day of classes and another
boring day with nothing to do.  He looked at the pair of earrings that lay
on the table, they were in shape of a daisy.  It was two years ago someone
gave him those earrings.  He sighed and sat back, the sounds of the other
people at the sidewalk cafe reached his ears.  One sound stood out, it was
a group of teenage girls.

     Hoshi looked over at the next table and six girls sat at the table
talking noisly.  Five were dressed in the fuku of Juuban High School and
one in T*A private girls school fuku.  The one with the black ponytail
caught his eye, her violet eyes glittered in the sunlight as she laughed
at a joke the blond with the long hair and red bow had cracked.

     "Minako-chan you are too crazy!" Moshi said as she wiped away the pop
that she sputtered out.  She stopped laughing as she felt a pair of eyes
on her.  She turned around and spotted the guy sitting alone at the table,
her hand went to her ears, where she had worn no earrings since Hoshi
left. "oh Kami-sama, say it isn't so," she whispered.

     "Daijoubu?" Makoto asked as her eyes shown worry.

     Minako gasped and tapped Rei. "That's Hoshi!" Rei gasped also and
nodded.

     Moshi's chair scratched the ground as she jumped up and ran towards
the table.  "Hoshi?! HOSHI!?!?!"

     Hoshi jumped from his seat and opened his arms. "Moshi!?" They both
grunted as she slammed into his chest.

     "Oh Hoshi," she started, her voice waterlogged with tears. "I've
missed you so!"

     "Hai, me too Moshi me too." He hugged her tightly and then looked at
her. "Do you still love me? I still love you."

     Moshi's violet eyes shimmered as she answered. "Of course silly I
still love you, always have always will." He started to say something
else, this she stopped with a kiss.  He noticed he didn't have to bend
down like before.  It seemed that in the two years he was gone, she grew a
bit.

     'Usagi-chan was right. It was meant to be.  It may have taken
almost two years, but here he is.  I still love him, maybe even more than
before.'
