Ever wondered sometimes about things you've read in PSE? Well, hopefully this little section can clear it up for you. ^_^
Moshi is left handed because the author is left handed?
Yep, Moshi is left handed because I am. That's my little bit of self-insertion, but I assure you that's ALL there is!
Moshi and Mamoru's apartment number is the author's birthday?
It hasn't been mentioned alot, but their apartment number is 1028, which is my birthday, October 28th!
Moshi was originally created for another series?
Moshi wasn't originally supposed to be a Senshi, she was supposed to be a Ronin Warrior/Samurai Trooper! She was a former dark warlord by the name of Kuroino Reikoru. (Rei of Darkness) She was supposed to be Ryo's lost twin sister (feh!) that defected from Talpa and assisted Kaos (the Ancient one) in defeating the dark side. I basically kept some elements and twisted it to fit Sailormoon. The reason it didn't fly, I hadn't seen the series in the original form and I prefer to stick to the original than dubs. Bleh!
Sailorearth's final form was going to be Sailorinfinity?
Yep, she was going to be Sailorinfinity in her final form. Then I realized that would be TOO cliched. EVERYONE would have saw that coming a mile away. I decided on Utopia because Utopia is like a Future Earth, a Paradise of sort. (see what I'm gettin at? ^_^).
Her fuku colors were going to be purple/green?
Oh ick, they were going to be purple/green for a bit after she changed from brown/yellow. I liked the lemon yellow bows, so I pulled those over to the purple incarnation and boom, purple/yellow. Of course I had purple picked BEFORE I knew Sailorsaturn existed. But hey, there's a few Senshi with blue fukus, why not purple. Uranus, Moon AND Mercury all wear blue, but DIFFERENT shades of blue. (mwahahaa) Moshi's purple is more of a violet kind of color, while Saturn's is a true purple.
Moshi and her daughter's Senshi names are a theme?
Since they're going to be living in Crystal Tokyo (which is descriped like a virtual paradise) I decided to make all their names link. You have Utopia, Neo Earth and Paradise (plus I have YET to see another Paradise!) they all describe one thing. Heaven on Earth (whoohaa!)
PSE was originally named "Senshi without a cause."
Yeah, I know, bad idea. Plus, it wouldn't have fit because in the end she DOES have a cause, and at the time I think there was another site called that. So PSE stuck.
Moshi's dub name was Melody Lanson.
Yep, Moshi started out as a dub character (because that's all I saw at the time) Her name was Melody Lanson and she appeared during the R arc (along with Rubeus and Chibiusa) She was kidnapped and held captive by Rubeus and turned evil. Her first assignment was to get the Senshi's tiaras. (yeah, dumb idea...I know)
When I created Hoshi, I wasn't even thinking about how their names rhymed.
I was so gung ho about adding a new character, I didn't even realize his named matched hers until someone ELSE pointed that out to me! Weird, ne?!
PSE was supposed to end with the destruction of the Earth?
When Moshi performed Revenge of Gaia, that was supposed to be the end of PSE! It's state that Usagi (somewhere in the future) was supposed to reawaken first and then awaken the rest of the earth with the power of the Ginzuishou. Well I was going to stick the entire cause of the Earth's destruction on Moshi! When Animeluva1 wrote the epilogue, that gave me an idea for the Utopian Chronicles. I knew that I would love to see the transiton from Sailorearth to Sailorutopia/Utopia Knight.
Two of Sailorearth attacks come from one of my FAVORITE video games?
I'm surprised no one sent me email on this yet (and it's been 6 years!) Splash Fount and Power Gradation are attacks from the game Samurai Showdown. It was a game on Super Nintendo and the character was Charlotte. (I could whip arse with that girl!) Splash Fount was a barrage of quick sword stabs and Power Gradation created a pillar around the victim. (I just added the crushing part)
