Epilogue: It's Only the Beginning
By: Tory L. Brown and Animeluva1
Much thanks to AnimeLuva for helping out on this one. I was surely
stuck on how to end this and begin Utopia's saga. Also thanks to
AnimeLuva for not hating on me because we both have a character
of the same name.
As she recited the final words of her destructive power,
everything went white. The blast from the emergence of all the
powers combining were too much power even for Moshi, the senshi
of life, to handle. She blinked, viewing a clear sky in the park.
She groaned as she sat up; sensing scabs start to reopen. Another
feeling reached her; her fuku was tighter on her than usual.
She managed to stand anyway, realizing that she couldn't
walk very well in her once comfortable boots. She looked around,
seeing just about every structure, minus plants and animals,
glittering as if they were made from glass. She made another
turn, not believing what her eyes were placing into her brain.
"Crystal Tokyo?"
"Hai, it is Crystal Tokyo," a small voice said, causing
Moshi to whip around in fright, prepared to fight again if she
have to. She felt as if she was looking at a smaller version of
herself. The tiny figure was dressed in the fuku of Supersailorearth.
Her tiny white boots shone brightly in the sunlight. The small
hand reached up and tugged on Moshi's hand, as if begging her
to walk with her.
"Dare?" Moshi asked, confused as to what was happening.
The small figure smiled up at her, her violet eyes crinkling.
"Silly I am your guardian, that little voice that helps you fight
when you're scared. There's so much to explain and so little time
to do it," she finished, her small face turning dark with worry.
"Guardian?" Moshi parroted, still a bit confused.
"Yes, Guardian. I am your power. I've been with you ever
since you used Planet Power. Gaia created me to lead you through
the dark spots of your life. I know it's hard for you to be a
Senshi. The others were born and bred to be one, you, well you've
had the crash course in being a Senshi. I was there when Mosite
came back, I was sure Gaia had got rid of her, it's a good thing
I didn't leave when I thought you would be able to handle
yourself," she chuckled as she smoothed the top skirt of her
fuku.
"I think I've seen you before," Moshi mused as she
scratched at her suddenly too tight fuku. She could feel
that the two layered skirt was on her waist like a belt,
she wondered if her butt gotten bigger or something.
Guardian Earth nodded. "Only in your dreams I was
there... I've come to alert you as to what's happening.
The future is now and you must realize it's almost time
for you to become a knight. When the time is right, I shall
appear again. Til then enjoy life and have fun. Look here's
Princess Jupiter..." She released Earth's hand and pointed
her in the direction of Jupiter's prone body.
Jupiter winced and tightened her already closed eyes.
She clenched her fists, opening her eyes to a shiny, glass-like
ground. "Mako-chan!" someone yelled. Jupiter remembered the
voice---her voice. "Earth..." she mumbled, pushing herself
partway off the slippery floor.
"Mako-chan, you're alive!" Earth couldn't help but
bear hug Jupiter, stopping only when Jupiter gasped for air.
She assisted Jupiter in sitting up. Only then did Earth
notice the lime-green one-piece dress. "Mako-chan? Nan
desu ka?" she asked, pointing out the dress.
Makoto looked at herself. Something in her mind
triggered a memory. "This...This is my dress when I was
Princess Jupiter."
They both turned their heads to two sets of groans.
Mars and Mercury shook their heads and sat up, each noticing
their fukus replaced by the same one-piece dress in their
respected colors. "Nani..." Mars murmured, staring at her
blood red, long-sleeved gloves.
"Wha?..." Mercury held out a sheet of paper in
front of her. "'To Princess Serenity'?" Respecting the
sender's privacy, mercury didn't bother to read it. She
turned around and stood up, searching for Eternal Moon.
"Neptune?" Uranus whispered, rolling on her back to
get away from a set of footsteps. "Haruka?" Neptune replied
with a quiet moan, rolling on her back to lay beside Uranus.
Uranus noticed the glass floor as she stood up, noticing
Neptune's aqua dress attire. She looked at herself, finding
a marine blue tuxedo on her body.
Venus shook her head, hoping the headache would vanish,
but to no avail. A hand was placed on her blonde head, and
her migraine went away. She looked up, seeing Saturn in a
lavender one-piece dress next to Pluto, who was wearing a
black dress of the same design. Pluto helped Venus up. "I
couldn't have designed a prettier dress on you, Princess,"
she smiled.
"'Princess'?" Venus repeated, staring down at a
sun-orange dress of the exact same design as Pluto and
Saturn's. "Pluto? What happened?"
"PRIIIINCEEEESSSSSSS!" Mercury called, moving
past her awakening companions towards a couple in the
center of everything. She saw on the ground Princess
Serenity and Prince Endymion, looking like something
out of the Sistine Chapel with their index fingers nearly
touching each other. She kneeled down and shook Serenity
awake.
"Wha---What happened?" Serenity looked at herself.
She was expecting to see her fuku. Instead she was wearing
a luminescent silver gown and on her head, balancing on her
odangos, was a golden crown with a bright read heart in
the center.
"I had the same question," Mercury replied, handing
Serenity a timeworn sheet of paper.
Serenity took the paper. "My Dear Serenity..."
Even if we haven't seen each other for a long time, just
remember I'll always be with you. By the time you get this
letter, there's going to be a lot of chaos. I know it will
be stressful for you. But remember: Love from family and
friends will help you achieve anything.
Aishite iru,
Okaachan to Otouchan
She buried her head into Endymion's chest, sobbing quietly.
Earth kicked her boots off. Slipping on this floor barefoot
was definitely more comfortable. "Pluuuto," she regained her balance
from almost falling again, "what happened?"
Pluto cleared her throat. "The powers that our home planets
gave you reacted to this one, creating all the crystal buildings
you see now. Your body couldn't take all the energy and that's
why you're almost as tall as Princess Jupiter."
Earth and Jupiter looked at each other. They realized they
were an inch away from seeing eye to eye.
"But you had excess energy," Luna interrupted, appearing
to them in her human form. "Which is why all of us are in our
Silver Millennium forms. It was enough energy to be the catalyst
of bringing Crystal Tokyo to existence."
"True, true," Artemis agreed, stepping from a crystal
wall in his human form.
Moshi was suddenly flabbergasted, all the time she
believed that she was not important enough to become a Senshi.
She was the catalyst of creating Crystal Tokyo. "So Imitar wanted
to kill me, so that I couldn't make the future happen." She paused,
the sudden revelation a clear shock to her system.
Serenity looked at her friend, her blue eyes moist. "That's
why I allowed myself to be killed, I had to get you somehow to
perform the power you hated so much."
"Hai." Princess Mars said as she walked forward, placing
one red gloved hand on Serenity's shoulder. "I've always suspected
it, sort of a gut feeling. You were the avatar, we needed your
extra energy so that Serenity wouldn't be killed when she tried
to create Crystal Tokyo herself.
Moshi blinked and thought of something else. In a quick
move she grabbed a handful of her hair and pulled it into her
view. Just as she suspected, it was stark white. Whiter than a
glass of milk. "Mosite," she whispered as she trembled.
"Don't fear, it's not permanent," a voice said as a
figure twinkled into view next to her. It was Gaia, dressed
in a soft tobacco silk dress with matching gloves. Her dark
hair wasn't in its normal braid, it was falling beyond her
shoulders in dark waves. Suddenly she looked a lot like
someone Moshi knew...
"Miko-mama?" she said, nearly gasping. The shock of
today's events was too much. "You've been my mother all this time?!?!"
Gaia nodded. "I had to convince you that you really
never needed me. You had the fighting spirit of a Senshi. So
I sent this Guardian." The small guardian appeared again, this
time dressed in a knight's armor. Around her tiny wrists were
two bracers of a bright shining gold. "I took the life as
Takanera Miko and had a daughter, you."
Gaia walked over to her son and kissed him on his
forehead. "I am so proud of you and your sister." She hugged
Serenity and smiled, turning she walked over to Moshi and
hugged her, transforming Moshi's tight fuku into a deep
purple one piece dress with matching gloves. The once
white hair of Mosite became the raven locks that Moshi
was known to have.
"Look Okaa-san! Sailormoon!" a girl said from the distance.
"I know," a woman cooed.
"Sailormoon..." "Sailormoon?" "Sailormoon! Arigato!" "Arigato!"
A crowd started to form around them, cheering for their
favorite Senshi.
* * * *
"Citizens of Crystal Tokyo, I give you your future King
and Queen, Endymion and Serenity. May their light shine forever!"
Mars exclaimed as she made room for Endymion and Serenity to
step outside into the crowd.
"Three cheers for the King and Queen!" Jupiter shouted
to the crowd.
"HIP, HIP HOOOOORAAAAAY! HIP, HIP HOOOOORAAAAAAY! HIP, HIP
HOOOOORAAAAAY!"
Mars, Venus, and Mercury threw confetti from the Crystal
Tower. Jupiter was assisting Earth in setting off fireworks.
Neptune led the Outers in a symphony.
While the crowds cheered, the newly inducted Neo-King
Endymion planted a kiss on the new Neo-Queen Serenity, who
gladly returned it. ' I made it this far, Okaa-chan, she
thought, but I'm just starting.' Smiling out at the crowd,
she placed a hand on Endymion's shoulder. Today was for sure
a new day, a new day for peace, love and happiness.
But that's just another story....
