"How come she looks a lot like Sailor Moon?"
This has always been the first question. Moshi looks nothing like Usagi. Just because she has odangos does not mean she looks like Usagi. There are two reasons why she has odangos. 1. I like the odangos; they're real darn cute. 2. Because of Queen Serenity spared her life. The hair is a secret reminder of how she helped defend the Moon Kingdom, all her descendants shall have hair like that. Moshi doesn't know, but Gaia knows and will tell her later.
"Have you considered red hair?"
There's already too many Sailorearth's with red hair. In order for her to be somewhat related to Mamoru (Chapter 8) She has to somewhat look like him, but this is twisted anyway and will come out as the story gets more in depth.
"Her name?"
Moshi's name doesn't mean anything but hello. In some cases it can mean: If, in case, supporting. That's exactly what Moshi is. She's a special case. IF Mosite hadn't been rescued, Moshi would not exist and she's just a supporting Senshi. She's not as strong at the others. Takanera Moshi's name is nothing fancy like the other Senshi. (i.e. Hino Rei, Spirit of fire) This adds more to her commonplace beginnings. Moshi isn't a real Senshi, so she doesn't get the designated Senshi name. In addition, Chino Moshi sounds as lame as a wet noodle!
"How did her powers develop?"
That took some time. The powers she first had were kind of crappy, I had to decide on a central theme, Life, energy and earth type stuff. It would have been too obvious to have her do earth type things. Many of her earlier powers were like lightning, lightning bolts. I had to somehow work that with Life to make her seem more like a Senshi of the Earth.
"Why the infinity sign?"
There are many reasons why I chose the infinity sign. If you look at things on a somewhat metaphysical level, there is an everlasting pattern of life and death and rebirth. One is born, one dies. Before that one dies it creates another life, another pattern. This is another sign that Moshi isn't a real Senshi as the others. She doesn't need the standard Earth symbol (which every other Otaku Earth uses) Which leaves me a lot of room to tweak with her symbol/powers/etc.
"Why does she change so much?"
If you mean how come she changes fukus much, Moshi is a morphing character. Within reasonable limits, all characters are supposed to change and mature with time. There is no set stasis of how she is. Once she becomes Utopia, she'll be OK. Is it a sin for the character to mature? Usagi-tachi is allowed to mature throughout BSSM (R, S, SS and Stars) why not Moshi?
"Why is so much told through Moshi's point of view?"
Because, this is Project: Sailor Earth, not Project: Sailor Jupiter or Venus or Mars.
Makoto: Even though that DOES sounds like a good idea...
"How come there is no Princess Moshi?"
*HACK* *COUGH* Because of two things. 1. She wouldn't be original anymore! Do you know how many Sailor Earth fanfics make their Otaku Earth, the princess of the Earth? She's either killed by Beryl or died with the rest of the Senshi-tachi. 2. That would usurp Mamoru's position as royalty of the Earth. Dammit I like Mamoru-kun! I don't want to take away his fame! If you look at Otaku Senshi fanfics, a majority of them are princesses. So to sum this answer up, there was never a 'Princess Moshi' *Argh, I hate saying that* and there will never be a 'Princess Moshi' because it makes this Senshi more original. Theoretically speaking there can never be a Princess of the Earth. What about Mamoru!? Each planet has ONE royal heir. Earth's heir is Mamoru. Moshi's just there.
"Why did you make her Mamoru's sister? It's really a big no-no to do so."
Um, PSE is a FANFICTION. Meaning it's a fan's depiction of fiction. Hence, they're related. How is it a big no-no? Is there some law cut in stone that says; "Thou who create Sailor Earth fanfiction MUST NOT make her Mamoru's sister." If there is, I wanna see it! Mamoru and Moshi ARE NOT really brother and sister. She even says so in Chapter 12 (Earth Brother and Sister) if you read it, you might have seen that.
Moshi twiddled her thumbs. "Ano...I'm not really your sister..." she started, her eyes seemingly filling with tears.
Mamoru placed his hand over Moshi's small one. "That doesn't really matter, I would still be happy if you considered me to be your brother." He smiled, his blue eyes twinkling.
Mamoru knows she's not really his sister, but he likes the idea of having family. If you look at it, Usagi is all the family he truly has. Gaia only said they were related (read history) to keep Moshi from freaking out. Gaia considers them both to be her children. Moshi is just 'adopted' seeing that she was once Mosite.
"How come Moshi never has a birthday in PSE?"
This would have been incredibly difficult to do. Moshi is technically older than the other Senshi because her birthday is FIRST.
Moshi -- January 1.
Rei -- April 17.
Usagi -- June 30.
Ami -- September 10.
Minako -- October 22.
Makoto -- December 5. (Ironic that Mako-chan's the youngest, but the tallest Although there was a rumor, that Makoto was a year older.)
If I did let Moshi celebrate her birthday she would have had to be a year younger, because Usagi has her 15th birthday in S, Moshi would have already had hers and Moshi doesn't appear UNTIL Usagi has the holy grail, which is way after the Usagi birthday episode.
"Why do you have edited pictures? That's considered lazy!"
Why am I even responding to this one? If it's so lazy then help my lazy butt out and DRAW some for me then! I'm only going to say this one more time: I CANNOT DRAW! A lot of people have put time and effort into creating these pictures for me. It really gets my dander flaring when people criticize work that people have put time into. If you don't like it, DON'T look at the pic gallery! It's free; it's not costing you one dime!
"Are Moshi and Erika from The Starlight Senshi related?"
Nope, Moshi and Erika are not related in anyway whatsoever. They're just happening to be wearing same colored fukus. In addition, it would be impossible for them to be related because of the varying timelines. TSS is still during R while PSE spans over S-Stars.
"Sailorearth cannot exist! Mamoru has the golden starseed!"
I'm so glad you've seen SailorStars. Now if you've READ Project: Sailor Earth, you would know that Moshi's starseed is purple with golden swirls! I also know that Mamoru has the golden starseed, his last name isn't Chiba just for the hell of it! As I said before, Mamoru doesn't wear a skirt, but Moshi does. See the connection?!
"Can I use Moshi in a fanfiction?"
I'm going to have to be a total B here and say no. There was a fiasco a while ago, but I dampened those flames before it became a wildfire. It's not that hard to create a Senshi. I suggest using S6 on ASMO or The Sailor Generator on Sailororion's Refuge. I was able to create Isha Midareko, Sailor Discordia using two things: Refuge's Sailor Generator and a Japanese Dictionary.
"Can you make me a Senshi?"
Hey, Bunky. The question above answers this too, and no, I'm not a magical cat like Luna, any kind of flipping makes me dizzy.
"I saw this and this and this on ASMO!"
My dear friend, get yourself some glasses. There is NOTHING similar between PSE and ASMO. For Pete's sake, PSE is based on the original; ASMO was based on the dub in the beginning!
"Terry Ladan is GOD!"
Well, that's your opinion and I don't see what this has to do with PSE. o.O;;
"Is Tenchino Hoshi like Sailorstar or something?!"
Hoshi: NANI!? o.O;; [Clutches his chest and faints]
... o.O ARGH! No he is NOT! Hoshi is a regular human being that just happens to be in love with a Senshi! Please, I did not create Hoshi to have him run around in a skirt, and if that ever happens, it's a sign I've finally lost my mind.
"Is Hoshi related to Mamoru?"
WHAT?! What kind of question is this!? He's not related to Mamoru! If he were, he'd be dating his SISTER! Hoshi is an only child that lives with his father!
"Why not have Moshi say Sei no enaajii instead of Jinsei. Aren't they the same?
Oooh good question! For those who don't know: Sei means life, exstience, but also means energy, spirit. Jinsei is like Sei, but it means HUMAN existence, life. I picked Jinsei because she is of the Earth and the earth is inhabited by humans. She protects human life and gets power from its energies. That's why she gets such a charge of being around Usagi because Usagi is so energetic. Usagi is full of life and Moshi simply feeds off that. Moshi gets a kick out of being in crowds because she can feel that energy and it gives her a little boost.
