By the secret language of relationships: Moshi, being born Jan 1st, is a Capricorn I: The week of the ruler. Highly dependable, Capricorn I's are able to assume many of the responsibilities of daily life without complaint. Not necessarily leaders, they often assume the position of ruler by default. Sounds alot like the Sailorelementals there! This is because they can't bear to watch the way others are running things. They are excellent at delegating responsibility and seeing things run smoothly to the mutual advantage of all concerned.

Emotional expression does not come easily to those born this week; often creatures of deep feeling, they can get all wrapped up inside a cocoon of repressed emotion. Since love relationships are a direct means of liberating such feelings, their mates may be indispensable for their mental and physical health. Associates of those born this week know them are caring, concerned and trustworthy individuals.

Capricorns are shrewed and can readily discern when a person is sincere ore merely acting out an ulterior motive. They also know the difference between a sincere compliment and a smooth line. They are interested in the arts and are drawn to people who are intellectually stimulating. At a social gathering, Capricorn is usually in the background taking it all in. When Capricorn has had enough, he or she will walk out. No loud words, quarrels or physical violence. Capricorn just goes. Getting them to that point isn't difficult. They cannot stand being teased. Although they enjoy jokes, they cannot tolerate being the butt of them.

Sounds like Moshi, doesn't it!

How Moshi mixes with others!

Moshi: Capricorn. Usagi: Cancer.

Weaknesses: Isolating, Oppressive, Stultifying

Wow, by this Moshi and Usagi make horrible friends! I have noticed as I've written more, Moshi and Usagi just don't click. I tried doing a battle exam chapter dedicated to the two, but so far they have nothing in common. Weird, ne? Cancer is prone to pick up unconsciously and very quickly on Capricon's feelings and express them as their own. (I have seen Usagi do this around Moshi) In childhood, both of them have commonly suffered from the disapproving attitudes of parents, teachers and other authority figures, making them build a tough exterior. The task of such a friendship is to slowly build bonds of commonality and trust that will dissolve these barriers. Seems Moshi and Usagi have a lot of ground to cover to be "true" friends.

Moshi: Capricorn. Ami: Virgo.

Strengths: Respectful, Trusting, Sensual
Weaknesses: Intimidating, Pressuring, Possessive.
Best: Love
Worst: Family

Ok, just ignoring sexual innuendos, I see signs here that Moshi and Ami have already displayed. Out of all the Senshi, I believe Moshi trusts Ami to a T, maybe more so than Makoto. (Sugoi!) On the possessive note, Moshi will punch anyone's lights out that make fun of or threaten Ami. This friendship emphasizes learning, experimentation and personal development through experience. Virgo and Capricorn usually have enough respect and trust to be able to rely on each other. In many ways they will parallel each other in their evolution, needing only to contact each other from time to time to touch base. That really sounds like Moshi and Ami. Both girls suffer from feeling inferior in comparison to the other Senshi. It took Ami to talk to Moshi to make her realize that they both weren't as bad as they thought.

Moshi: Capricorn. Rei: Aries.

Strengths: Structured, Improving, Trusting.
Weaknesses: Conflicting (oh that's a true one!) Unrealistic, Hardheaded.
Best: Marriage
Worst: Work

Ok the weakness is a HUGE sign in Moshi/Rei's friendship. These two spend a major part of their time butting heads and creating conflict! The keynote of this relationship is the establishment of firm guidelines and working structures. Neither has to be in a bad mood to create tension between each other. They're constantly battling it out, trying to establish some sort of rule. Aries is too strong willed, Capricorn is just plain stubborn. Capricorn greatly needs a special friend they can trust and with whom they can open up. Scarily, Aries can fit the bill nicely. both like to work hard and play hard, so they are willing to invest time and effort in structuring a relationship in which they can sharpen their wits, by testing ideas on each other and compete in challenging physical activities. If that's not Moshi and Rei, than I don't know WHAT is!

Moshi: Capricorn. Makoto: Sagittarius.

Strengths: Admiring, Magnetic, Diverse.
Weaknesses: Disapproving, Over controlling, Mistrustful.
Best: Friendship.
Worst: Marriage. (well that's not gonna happen...)

Wow, see, Moshi and Makoto's signs make them good friends. This is really tripping me out! Should these two become rivals, they're likely to entice each other with dubious promises and try to catch the other off guard in their attempts to overcome. Capricorn's curiosity will probably be piqued by Sagittarius' originality, at least at first, but they will later come to view this quality as flaky and irresponsible and will grow irritated and impatient with it. Oh that doesn't sound good, does it? Moshi thinks Mako-chan's flaky? Nah, she admires her too much to do that (Aha another Strength!) Friendships between this sign pair is based on contrasts. See how Mako-chan thinks every guy is her lost Sempai, but Moshi is mooning over only Hoshi and Hoshi only. Others may wonder how such an odd pair can remain friends, but this is a special bond sustained through mutual need and affection! Common interests prove to be the cement that holds this together.

Moshi: Capricorn. Minako: Libra.

Strengths: Committed, Responsible, Protective.
Weaknesses: Frustrating, Confining, Dull.
Best: Marriage.
Worst: Love.

Oh boy, doesn't seem that Moshi and Minako would get along, ne? For different reasons, this pair may see one another as a force of change that will free them from something. Moshi views Minako as this genki, wild girl that loves to have a good time, while Minako views Moshi as someone down to earth and with a one track mind. What can be so frustrating is trying to find an even ground to work from. We all know Minako is just OUT there, but that's due to past experiences. What Moshi has to realize is this is Minako just acting out, protecting her past hurt and covering it with semi-psychotic joy. Capricorn feels out of control in this relationship and Libra sees Capricorn as stuffy.

Moshi: Capricorn. Mamoru: Leo.

Strengths: Aspiring, Powerful, Affluent.
Weaknesses: Monolithic, Blaming, Frustrated.
Best: Friendship.
Worst: Love.

Oooh boy, here comes the siblings. Leo and Capricorn share many values and may even at times adopt a monolithic stance that can be somewhat unfeelingly to their colleagues and friends. In friendships extremely tight bonds develop. Both may offer each other a bitter sort of consolation for shared feelings of rejection or inadequacy. Should a blow up occur, all roads can lead to anger, resentment and blame. (Remember when Moshi turned on Mamoru when she thought he came to take up for Usagi?) In family matters Capricorn can be extremely critical of the methods of Leo, who adopts a straightforward attitude and goes for it. This offends Capricorn's moral sensibilities, since Capricorn likes to insit on a particular way of doing things. Capricorn sets the rules and Leo loves to break them. Perfect match for the siblings, ne?

Moshi: Capricorn. Haruka: Aquarius.

Strengths: Theoretical, Pragmatic, Supportive.
Weaknesses: Disapproving, Boring, Suspicious.
Best: Marriage. (Uh, Michiru MIGHT get jealous!)
Worst:Work

Capricorn tends to be more responsible and Aquarius more explosive, but this doesn't seem to drive them apart. A truely successful relationship is neither dull nor unstable, since each other's strong points negates the other's weaknesses.. Capricorn might be highly critical of what they perceive Aquarius to be irresponsible and flaky. Aquarius might see Capricon as too structured and just plain boring. Each respect the others wisdom, making them confidants, but the conservative view of Capricorn most likely will clash with Aquarius' more radical and outspoken views. (Haruka DOES tend to scare Moshi quite a bit!)

Moshi: Capricorn. Michiru: Pisces.

Strengths: Communicative, Thoughtful, Problem-solving..
Weaknesses: Stifling, Dogmatic, Overemotional.
Best: Family.
Worst: Love. (Well, I think Michiru has nothing to worry about here...)

Although this relationship shapes up as a confrontation between the practical (Moshi) and the spiritual, (Michiru) the emphasis here is on the power of the mind to seek out and find the answers to such philosophical questions. (Remember, Moshi DID go to Michiru for love advice!) Inevitably, communicating such findings to other people is important here. Thus the strengths of both will be called upon. Friendships of this combination are more remarkable when each can benefit from their different outlooks. I'm sure out of all the Outers, Moshi can find Michiru the first to approach. Haruka may be too explosive and Setsuna secretive.

Moshi: Capricorn. Setsuna: Scorpio. (Hey, the Author is a Scorpio too!)

Strengths: Independent, Aspiring, Responsible..
Weaknesses: Intolerant, Hurtful, Inflexible.
Best: Work. (Senshi in arms!)
Worst: Family.

This combination focuses on flexibility and openness. Each learn how to air opinions without harming the other. When things go well, they can go VERY well. These two signs have extremely different attitudes. Such a matchup can be satisfying or frustrating. Moshi admires Setsuna, but can find her secretiveness to strain her last nerve. Setsuna sees Moshi as someone that's way too direct minded and often stuck on that one way path to a solution. Friendships ARE possible, but so are enmities. Should they find themselves on opposing sides, neither can expect that the other will give in quickly. (Remember Moshi going against the outers, neither wanted to give in!)

Strengths: Tactful, Unusual, Protective.
Weaknesses: Disapproving, Unforgiving, Punitive
Best: Work. (Whoo, Senshi in arms again!)

This relationship tends to look after its own best interests and will encourage everyone to get along. This relationship might be viewed as irregular or even downright bizarre. (Hey, Moshi was Mosite and Hotaru Mistress 9...o.O) Such a practical relationship has little danger of falling into idle speculation. Friendships of this combination are very supportive and protective, but both may compete for affection and attention of others. (Hotaru & Moshi: Nani? o.O) Should such strife get out of hand, alienation and an inability to forgive can be expected.
